If you would like to be added or dropped from the Michigan ping list, please freepmail me.
I could be wrong, but I watched the video and it looked like the statue was on the side of the church facing Grand Blvd.
How in the world could the statue have been removed without anyone noticing? Sure didn't look like a 30-second job. Another thing--this church has apparently been the focus of vandalism lately--is it the only church in the area being targeted? If so, why would it be singled out? Is anyone familiar with this church?
Sheesh, what a world!

Whether it was Jesus, a bunny or a garden gnome, it was theirs.

Did you listen to the rest of the report? Probably the same people who stole the gutters. They thought the thing was metal and was going to sell it for scrap.
It happens here in the Detroit area all the time.
