In case you missed this thread earlier: Fox News.... just conducted a live interview of Col Perkins, 3rd ID. He explained that the M1A1 tank was the lead tank in a column penetrating an ambush allet. The tank took two RPG's and caught fire. The Commander took a bullet in the shoulder; the tank kept rolling and then unloaded all its fury on the enemy position. Enemy dead.
