A widespread cyberattack has caused significant disruptions to many operations at MGM Resorts International, including inoperable casino machines and malfunctioning room keys in Las Vegas. MGM owns some of the most recognizable hotels and casinos across the country, especially in Las Vegas, where it operates the Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, and of course the MGM Grand, among others. Now, a recent cybersecurity breach has wreaked havoc at many of those properties.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — MGM Resorts International announced the sale Tuesday of two casinos that will significantly alter its portfolio of Las Vegas Strip properties and offer up cash. The Las Vegas-based company said it is selling the Circus Circus hotel-casino for $825 million to Treasure Island casino owner Phil Ruffin. The company also sold the Bellagio for $4.25 billion.

MGM Resorts International has agreed to pay up to $800 million to settle lawsuits from victims of the October 2017 mass shooting in Las Vegas that left 58 people dead and hundreds of others injured. The killer, Stephen Paddock, holed up inside his room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel, which MGM owns, and then fired into the crowd at a country music festival below. I must be much more fair and generous than liberals. Because I would never attack a CEO for what political causes he personally believes in.Liberals clearly don't feel that way. I remember a few years back when the CEO of Mozilla was forced by liberal activists to resign from his company because he gave a PERSONAL $1000 donation to a California PAC fighting gay marriage. This CEO didn't involve his company in politics in any way.
