South Portland High School student Connor Mullen says he expected students to taunt him when he started wearing the hat to school three weeks ago. But the 16-year-old sophomore says he alerted school administrators on Friday when two adults who worked in the school made fun of him, including a teacher who allegedly said, “Thank God you can’t vote.”
