Utah independent Senate candidate Evan McMullin on Tuesday will campaign with leftist celebrity Alyssa Milano and Never Trump Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL). “In case you’re one of those people who doesn’t believe hell exists, tonight there is a rally featuring Adam Kinzinger, Evan McMuffin, and Alyssa Milano,” Brent Scher, the executive editor for the Washington Free Beacon, wrote, sharing a press release for a “virtual GOTV [Get Out the Vote] Rally with Kinzinger, Milano, and McMullin.

Independent U.S. Senate candidate Evan McMullin called on Sen. Mike Lee to “break from partisan extremes” and get behind the bipartisan gun safety proposal unveiled in the Senate this week. McMullin said in a brief news conference via Zoom on Monday that he supports the proposal as a common-sense plan to protect children, families and gun rights.

It’s always fun to see how much the Never Trump folks reveal themselves and tend to shoot themselves in the foot. But when you look at a group that includes people like The Lincoln Project, Rep. Adam Kinzinger (RINO-IL), Rep. Liz Cheney (RINO-WY), and Rep. Mitt Romney (RINO-UT), you know it’s going to be a never-ending font of hypocrisy. One of the funniest things is how they posture at being the “true conservatives.” Yet, they then throw in with Democrats — who are doing all they can to push us further to the left — effectively helping their agenda against...

In the wake of conservative Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming's ouster from her House GOP leadership position, roughly 150 Republican or former Republican leaders who are opposed to former President Trump's continued strong grip over the GOP have signed a letter threatening to leave the party if it does not reform and return to its "founding American principles." The group's statement of principles – titled a "Call for American Renewal" – was unveiled Thursday. It outlines 13 principles to guide a "rebirth of the American cause." "We, therefore, declare our intent to catalyze an American renewal, and to either re-imagine...

Evan McMullin, Miles Taylor and other prominent conservatives announce a new political movement. Democracy. We seek the preservation and betterment of our democratic republic and the endurance of our self-government, free from interference and defended against all enemies, foreign and domestic. We support reforms that make our system more accessible, transparent, and competitive, oppose the disenfranchisement of voters, and reject populism and illiberalism, whether of the right or the left.

Never Trump conservatives like McMullin and Miles Taylor helped elect Joe Biden. Where do they go now? On a cold Friday morning in February, 120 well-known conservatives gathered via Zoom. The meeting was unadvertised and invite-only, and under Chatham House Rule, attendees agreed to not publicly reveal the identity of others outside of that setting.

Donald Trump’s refusal to accept his electoral defeat is alarming, but unsurprising. It is Mr. Trump’s character to reject even reality itself when it conflicts with his ego. More alarming is the long list of state and national Republican leaders cravenly falling in line behind his desperate efforts to topple American democracy. On Friday, the Supreme Court rejected a Texas lawsuit to overturn the election, a legal challenge that was as frivolous as it was anti-constitutional. Yet more than 60 percent of House Republicans signed a supporting brief, joining 18 Republican attorneys general who filed their own and embraced entirely...

Donald Trump repeated a nickname mocking one of his formal presidential rivals at his rally on Friday night, calling Evan McMullin “McMuffin.” While reminiscing about watching the polls close on election night, Trump referred to the conservative third-party McMullin as a “character that nobody ever saw before, nobody ever heard of him before." When someone in the audience chimed in to call the former Independent candidate “McMuffin,” Trump repeated it. "That’s correct, that’s his name, he said Evan McMuffin, do you believe this?” Trump said. “I never heard of this guy before. Nobody did. And the polls said he’s even...

A leader of the "Never Trump" movement has no plans to let President Trump run for re-election without first facing a primary opponent. Bill Kristol told CNBC in an interview published Friday that his nonprofit Defending Democracy Together is seeking a Republican to challenge Trump in 2020. "People aren't going to say they will run against Trump unless they have the infrastructure, but I've been trying to persuade people that it may not be that difficult,” he said.

Utah Sen. Mike Lee, who is on Donald Trump's lengthy short list for Supreme Court nominees, revealed Wednesday that he voted for independent presidential candidate Evan McMullin. "It was a protest vote," he told an audience at the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute in Salt Lake City, acknowledging he didn't know McMullin well, or much about him. "I had signaled in the past concerns that I had with my party's nominee. I've made no secret about that and I don't feel any desire to rehearse those now.… I saw in Evan McMullin an opportunity to register a protest vote." Lee...

The Truth About Evan McMullin – And Why I Am So Disappointed in My Mormon Friends For Falling For This I challenge any Evan McMullin supporter to tell me what they knew about Evan McMullin a year ago. Unless you are one of maybe a hundred people who ran into him at your ward picnic, the answer is nothing. That’s my answer and I am a huge political junkie. To the dismay of my family I can rattle on about all sorts of obscure politicians and behind the scenes players who influence elected politicians, but for the life of...

Apparently, #NeverTrump candidate Evan McMullin attended the June 15 House leadership meeting. McMullin then announced he would run for president against the Republican primary winner Donald Trump in August. Republican leaders now believe McMullin taped the meetings. Earlier this week McMullin confirmed to the Washington Post that a tape leaked to the liberal rag was accurate. Republicans trusted this clown — Now they are worried he is going leak more audio from their meetings — trashing Trump no doubt — to the liberal media.

Owes nearly $670,000 for failed presidential bid Evan McMullin Up To His #NeverTrump Eyeballs in Campaign Debt Posted by Fuzzy Slippers Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 8:30am Owes nearly $670,000 for failed presidential bid Evan McMullin exploded onto the 2016 presidential election scene as an Independent with a message of conservative values and Reagan-esque ideals. He didn’t make a blip on the radar, and following President Trump’s election has turned his sour grapes into a #NeverTrump box of sickly-sweet wine that reeks of desperation and, worse, of self-aggrandizement.To top off his head-spinning fall from grace, McMullin owes nearly...

On July 7, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, Donald J. Trump, met privately with House Republicans near the Capitol. I was present as chief policy director of the House Republican Conference. Mr. Trump’s purpose was to persuade the representatives to unite around him, a pitch he delivered in a subdued version of his stream-of-consciousness style. A congresswoman asked him about his plans to protect Article I of the Constitution, which assigns all federal lawmaking power to Congress.

That said, among his fellow Mormons, there appears to be a lot of interest in the former Republican congressional staffer’s candidacy. In a Utah survey released over the weekend by the Salt Lake Tribune, McMullin trailed Republican nominee Donald Trump by just 2 percent, within the poll’s margin of error. . . . McMullin has also polled in the low double-digits in neighboring Idaho, ahead of Johnson’s 4 percent. It’s even possible that his support could be higher than surveys are indicating, since many pollsters don’t include him in their questionnaires. All of this means that everything is going to...

chaos By Danny Jativa Published October 21, 2016 FoxNews.com Facebook Twitter livefyre Email Print Now Playing Evan McMullin on building a new conservative movement Amid the raucous final phase of the presidential battle between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, independent candidate Evan McMullin has quietly crept into contention in the overlooked state of Utah – a development he hopes could lead to an Electoral College deadlock. The former CIA operative is little-known elsewhere in the country and is only on the ballot in 11 states. But an apparent voter backlash in Mormon-heavy Utah against the two major-party candidates has fueled...

While several recent polls from Utah have suggested Donald Trump is recapturing his lead there, an astounding new survey from CBS News and YouGov finds him with a 17-point lead over Hillary Clinton, far beyond what other polls suggest. Independent write-in candidate Evan McMullin, whose campaign is almost entirely dedicated to attacking Trump, plays a major role in the CBS/YouGov poll… but he might be hurting Clinton at least as much as Trump. In fact, he’s tied with Hillary Clinton in Utah. Donald Trump leads with 37 percent, while Hillary Clinton and Evan McMullin draw 20 percent each, followed by...

Members of the group Mormons for Trump are concerned about a trend among LDS church faithful to support third-party candidates like Evan McMullin. They say the push to “vote your conscience” is unwittingly helping to put Democrat Hillary Clinton in the White House. McMullin has undoubtedly benefited from the recent controversies surrounding Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump. The 40 year old former CIA officer told KUER last week after the video of Trump speaking crudely about women surfaced, interest in his own presidential campaign intensified. “For all those people who wondered why we were so adamant that Donald Trump must...

Presidential nominee in 2008 faces GOP primary fight. BY JOSEPH WEBER Former Rep. J.D. Hayworth, Arizona Republican, said in an interview Monday that his planned primary challenge to Sen. John McCain will portray the four-term incumbent as a not-so-conservative Republican who has "enabled" President Obama and his failed economic and security policies. "I'm giving Arizona Republicans a clear choice between a consistent, common-sense conservative . . . or someone who describes himself as a maverick but is a moderate," the outspoken Mr. Hayworth told The Washington Times' "America's Morning News" radio show. Mr. Hayworth, 51, quit his job Friday as...
