ed Cruz will grab an upset win over Donald Trump in Arizona's presidential primary election on Tuesday, as he's the "only candidate with any kind of organization out here," a close confidant of Sen. John McCain predicts. "They have him positioned to spring the upset," Kurt Davis, a GOP operative in Arizona, told The Hill. "They just have to deliver."

WASHINGTON — Despite the Republican strategy of passing piecemeal immigration reform, Sen. John McCain predicted today that comprehensive legislation can pass the GOP-controlled House. “I think this fall is very important,” McCain said at a forum hosted by AFL-CIO and the Economic Policy Institute. “Let’s say we enact it, comprehensive immigration reform — I don’t think it gains a single Hispanic voter, but what it does, it puts us on a playing field where we can compete for the Hispanic voter,” McCain told PBS’ Gwen Ifill. “If we don’t do that, frankly, I don’t see — I see further polarization...

I'm just curious, since Jane and I check in at Free Republic first to see what happened during the night. But it seems to us that Obama threads outnumber McCain by about 4 to 1 -- not a scientific observation. As we get closer and closer to the election, what is McCain doing? What is Palin doing? Aren't there any pro-McCain threads out there? Maybe we're just over-reacting, but it seems like our candidates have become invisible. Just wondering.

The Big Switch Why Democrats should draft John McCain in 2004--and why he should let them. By Joshua Green -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Democrats are more dispirited today than they have been in years. It's not just that President Bush's approval ratings continue to defy gravity, or that he's been largely successful in enacting a conservative agenda. Nor is it simply that Democrats seem to lack a fighting spirit and an effective message. It's not even the distinct possibility that Republicans could retake the Senate this fall, and with it, control of Washington. What's plaguing so many in the Democratic Party is that...
