Maud Maron, a parent member of New York City’s Community Education Council in District 2 and a former Legal Aid Society attorney, is seeking to unseat Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg in 2025. Maron, a mother of four public school kids, ran for Congress as a Democrat in 2022 but has since left the party, first changing her registration and then in 2023 re-enrolling as a Republican.
