Investigations into the background information of women lobbing charges at Herman Cain reveal a potential smear campaign that may result in a damaging backlash against democratic operatives...
  • Cain needs to take a public lie detector test, and insist that this woman does also.

    one man's opinion...
I believe Herman Cain, that this latest charge is false. Nevertheless, it will kill his campaign unless he stops it dead in its tracks, immediately. There is now a face, a live person, making accusations from 15 years ago that can't be refuted. She may be discredied, but the stench will linger. However, he can stop this in his tracks, and come out ahead, with one bold stroke.

The settlement agreement between the National Restaurant Association and a woman who accused Herman Cain of sexual harassment was reached in September 1999--and was not signed by Cain himself, according to Joel Bennett, a lawyer for the woman. Bennett, who has a copy of the settlement agreement, said four people signed it: the woman, two lawyers representing the association and Bennett himself. Bennett said the agreement was resolved relatively quickly, about two or three months after she complained.
  • Could the accusations against Herman Cain sink Mitt Romney?

First, I am not saying Romney’s campaign leaked any information or is behind the current Cain controversy. That’s not what this is about. If the accusations against Cain turn out to be serious by today’s standards, then it’s better they come out now so Cain can get out of the race now. But, what if they were only serious by 1990’s standards? Take the recent accusation of inappropriate behavior against Cain by an Iowa radio host, where Cain said the following to a radio station female staffer: “Darling, do you mind doctoring my tea for me?” People are rolling on...

I don’t know what Herman Cain did or didn’t do at the National Restaurant Association, and neither do you. But I can quote you some of what the journalistic common nightwalkers of Politico said in their alleged blockbuster: “There were also descriptions of physical gestures that were not overtly sexual but that made women who experienced or witnessed them uncomfortable.” Not overtly sexual? That could mean anything. Please pass the salt. Get me Joe on the phone. How ’bout them Steelers? Do you remember this exact same point in the 2008 campaign? The National Enquirer had just started running their...
  • Herman Cain Makes Sexual Harassment Taboo Again

Media Bias: The press is reporting that GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain was once accused of sexual harassment. OK, and Bill Clinton was elected to the White House not once but twice. So why is this even an issue? Cain admits he was accused in the 1990s while president of the National Restaurant Association. But he says he was "falsely accused" and the charges are "totally baseless." He maintains that "nothing happened." Even if something had happened, we wonder why the media are making such a big deal of this. Didn't the double election of Clinton eliminate sexual impropriety as...
