President Biden and his team on Friday marked two years since he was sworn into office, highlighting economic gains and bipartisan achievements that will likely form the backbone of a potential re-election bid. “When I came into office, we had a lot of problems,” Biden told a gathering of bipartisan mayors at the White House. “The pandemic was raging. Our economy was reeling, but we acted together. Now, two years in, it’s clearer than ever our plan is working.” The president gave a wide-ranging speech in which he pointed to infrastructure investments, the signing of the Inflation Reduction Act last...

Submitted by Jeremiah Johnson (nom de plume of a retired Green Beret of the United States Army Special Forces (Airborne)) via SHTFPlan.com, The Obama Administration has been characterized by not only a lack of transparency on issues that surface, but a deliberate obfuscation to mask true actions and intentions. There are literally no limits to what the man and his handlers will do outside of the law to attain their ends, while simultaneously “crafting” legislation to enslave the citizenry. The fawning, lying press trumpets his victories and quietly spins his defeats: objectivity cannot be maintained by journalists on the government...

sraeli officials reacted angrily Thursday night to a British decision to advise retailers and importers to distinguish on labels whether imported produce from the West Bank is being made in the settlements or by Palestinians. According to a statement released by the British Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs, "Importers, retailers, NGOs and consumers have asked the Government for clarity over the precise origin of products from the Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPTs). The label 'West Bank' does not allow consumers to distinguish between goods originating from Palestinian producers and goods originating from illegal Israelisettlements."

CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq (Feb. 1, 2006) -- The 2nd Marine Division’s 65th Anniversary is marked by yet another milestone in its illustrious career: a successful, year-long combat deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The division assumed control of the Al Anbar province in March 2005 and has aggressively pursued and rooted out insurgent activity throughout the region. Combat operations such as Rivergate and Steel Curtain liberated outlying cities and towns from the grip of the insurgency’s campaigns of murder and intimidation, freeing the people to live free, productive lives. This freedom allowed for two successful national votes. The Constitutional...

August 6th marked the 60th anniversary of America’s use of an atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima. While some still argue that President Truman’s decision to use the A-bomb was “controversial,” they are afflicted with the scourge of our time, the loss of a sense of moral proportion and certainty. Unfortunately, those with relativistic morals will lead us to see the day when nuclear weapons are used again – this time to end once and for all the barbaric savagery of Islamism. Green Left Weekly (GLW) calls the U.S. putting a swift end to WWII – using atomic...

http://netwmd.com/articles/article890.html After a first term marked by schizophrenic Iran policy initiatives, the Bush White House will soon develop a coordinated policy to promote peaceful regime change in Iran. The Bush administration is heartened by the apparent success of the Iraqi election and believes that Iranians are ready to exert their democratic rights. Bush policy is motivated by the grave and growing threat from the Islamic Republic's nuclear weapons program, and the realization that neither Iran nor the European Union are sincere in preventing Iran's acquisition of nuclear weaponry. The Islamic Republic's potential threat to American security emanates from Tehran's determination...

Iraqi informer's family is marked for death Nawaf al-Zaidan earned $30m by leading the US to Saddam's sons. Now local tribes have sworn revenge Rory McCarthy in Mosul Saturday January 24, 2004 The Guardian (UK) The spot where Nawaf al-Zaidan's mansion once stood is now empty. Bulldozers flattened the building, leaving a neat square of red earth, as if to erase the memory of what happened here six months ago. Scrawled nearby in red paint are the words: "Houses and land for sale." On July 22 last year, Mr Zaidan left his home in the al-Bareed suburb of the northern...
