Fomer Governor Louie B. Nunn died, Thursday night at his home just outside Versailles. His son Steve Nunn says he appears to have died from a heart attack. He was taken to Woodford County Hospital. Governor Nunn was born March 8, 1924, in Barren County. He was Kentukcy's last Republican Governor before current Governor Ernie Fletcher. Nunn served as Governor from 1967 to 1971.
