The Bavarian mountain hound, a St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office canine that specializes in finding lost children, located a missing 14-year-old autistic child in the woods near Lacombe. Carlsbad police said they believe they found Samuel Jones in a hole in a yard of a nearby home at about 7 a.m. Sunday. The boy had last been seen at 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Police said the hole was about 30-feet deep with an opening of about three feet.The Carlsbad Fire Department and a local mine rescue team were assisting in the rescue operation.
