Curious if other Freepers out there have gone thru any hoops to start a new political party. I'm interested in starting/joining a party for Middle Americans that would support the following: 1) Support organized immigration to the United Sates thru annual numerical limitations on Visas and enforcement of borders; Sanction companies that hire illegal aliens. 2) Recognizing that the outcome of the 1973 Roe V. Wade has seriously divide the country, would support efforts to return the question of the legality of abortion to State legislatures. 3) Freeze federal spending at current levels to alleviate deficit.
