A friend sent around a YouTube video of a local newscast discussing something called "lock bumping". Apparently there's an onslaught of websites dedicated to showing people how to EASILY defeat virtually any common house lock including deadbolts by doing some special cuts in standard keys and then tapping the key to open the door.
