SolarCity US DOE loan approval fails According to news reports, US-based solar installation firm, SolarCity will not be able to complete and comply with documentation deadlines of September 30th to be considered for a US Department of Energy loan, previously announced. President Obama's nominee for Commerce secretary served as chairman of the board of a solar energy company that recently received a $1.37 billion federal loan guarantee – the largest the Department of Energy has ever given for a solar power project. Now that company, BrightSource Energy, is attempting to build the world's largest solar power plant amid concerns such ventures may be too risky an investment for the federal government. In June, BrightSource Chairman John Bryson was nominated by Obama to head the Commerce Department. WND reported in June that Bryson co-founded an environmental activist group that is a member...

The Obama Administration appears to be preparing to "soak" taxpayers again -- this time by touting cellulosic ethanol as a viable alternative fuel.

Is MSNBC being rewarded for having supported Obama? That's what Jim Pinkerton suggests. On this evening's Fox News Watch, the columnist and New America Foundation fellow cited the news that GE Capital, a subsidiary of MSNBC's parent company GE, has received a $139 billion government loan guarantee. This evening's show opened with a clip of Chris Matthews [in a story that NB was first to report], saying that he saw as his "job" making the Obama presidency a success. Pinkerton unloaded. • What's buried in the Automaker loan guarantee bailout bill?

Having seen the DemoRats try to bury funding for ACORN and other liberal organizations in the Wall Street bailout along with trying to load it up with pork you have to wonder what's buried in the $25 billion auto bailout? I haven't seen the language but I'll bet there is a lot of stuff in there that would be very unpalatable if it ever saw the light of day. The MSM won't cover it because the stuff that is probably laden with helps DemoRats. They might have put money in for community activists in this bill as well.
