LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Ben Affleck is getting political. The Hollywood hunk received the Spirit of Liberty award from the liberal People for the American Way Tuesday night (Oct. 14). In his acceptance speech, Affleck, 31, attacked President Bush's "dangerous right-wing" policies, claiming they erode civil liberties, according to media sources. He also discussed fellow celeb Arnold Schwarzenegger's recent election to the governorship in California, comparing what he called "the dawn of the Schwarzenegger era in American politics" to the decline of the Roman Empire.
