In the future, the United States will see more events like Saddam Hussein's capture, Donald Miller, a history professor at Lafayette College, said Sunday.
In previous wars, the United States put a priority on defeating enemy nations, not capturing enemy leaders, Miller said.

The comparison of Davis and Hussein are out of line. That is an understatement. One was a great man despite if you agreed with him and the other a homicidal mass murderer... Davis had conviction for he believed was right and conducted war in an honorable way. Saddam was a ruthless dictator. The only similarity is that they were both leaders.

Well, they were both deposed national leaders who were captured by the victorious forces. That's a parallel in the strictest sense ...

Miller found parallels between Davis and Saddam. What damn parallels???? Saddam has killed 400,000 of his own people!
Pres. Davis only tried to organize a guerrilla force.
Donald Miller must be an idiot!

The only parallel I can see is both were captured by the FedGov. The policies, actions, behavior, and honor of both men are dissimilar. This comparison was ill-conceived.

Miller found parallels between Davis and Saddam. What a nutjob! Davis didnt execute his own citizens. I found parallels between Miller and a moron.

This comparison was ill-conceived.Well, of course it was. I was just pointing out that there's a similarity in their situations, if not in any other sense.

Miller's assertion about the parallels between Hussein and Jeff Davis are ludicrous. Jeff Davis, in NO WAY even remotely be compared to Saddam. One fought for freedom, the other to tyrannize and brutalize a country.

Was this written by a six-year old?
It's very clunky and hard to read, like a child wrote it.
