The original video, which can still be viewed online, was filmed by Austrian news outlet OE24 in Ballhausplatz, Austria on Feb. 4, 2022, just a few weeks before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022. And no one was trying to pass it off as being from Ukraine until it entered the right-wing media ecosystem.
