Fond Memories of a 1984 Meeting in Washington, DC I was saddened to learn of the recent passing of Larry Norman. I could not help but reminisce about several days nearly a quarter century ago when the leader of the modern conservative movement addressed a gathering of Christian media leaders in Washington, DC and an anti-establishment Christian rock activist dropped in. So Kristin suggested I write it down in this newsletter. A year ago I felt very unwell so I took myself down to the hospital. I was shocked when they told me I only had two or three days to live and that I should call my family members and say goodbye. No surgeon at Salem would operate on me because they said my heart was too weak to survive the procedure....
