This article presents, analyzes and adds important new information about a recent letter to the editor of the Washington Times concerning the nominee for FBI Director, Robert Mueller. The letter was published on page A-11 of the Times on July 28, 2001 and was written by Patrick Downes of Boston. His letter was entitled “FBI Appointment Needs More Investigation”.
