On Monday a DC Appeals Court blocked President Donald Trump from removing radical Democratic members from two federal labor boards. In a 7-4 vote, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit vacated a March 28 ruling by a three-judge panel of the same court, according to Reuters. The latest rulings again reinstates Cathy Harris from the Merit Systems Protection Board and Gwynne Wilcox from the National Labor Relations Board.

A federal appeals court has cleared the way for President Trump to finally fire members of the labor and workforce protection boards. A Senate panel on Wednesday advanced the nominations of two lawyers picked by President Trump to fill the open seats on the National Labor Relations Board. The Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee voted 12-11 along party lines to send the nominations of Marvin Kaplan and William Emanuel to the floor for a full vote.
