A photojournalist withheld publication of a 2005 photograph of a smiling then-Sen. Barack Obama with a beaming Louis Farrakhan, the anti-Semitic, anti-white leader of the Nation of Islam. The occasion was a meeting with the Congressional Black Caucus. The photographer, Askia Muhammad, said that almost immediately after he took the picture a CBC staffer called and said, "We have to have the picture back." Muhammad later surrendered the disk with the photo to Farrakhan's chief of staff. "I gave the picture up at the time and basically swore secrecy," Muhammad said in an interview with the Trice Edney News Wire....

Obama, Ayers, and PLO supporters toast Edward Said's successor, but the press doesn't think it's quite as newsworthy as Sarah Palin's wardrobe. Let’s try a thought experiment. Say John McCain attended a party at which known racists and terror mongers were in attendance. Say testimonials were given, including a glowing one by McCain for the benefit of the guest of honor … who happened to be a top apologist for terrorists. Say McCain not only gave a speech but stood by, in tacit approval and solidarity, while other racists and terror mongers gave speeches that reeked of hatred for an...

Breitbart News hereby announces a $50,000 reward to whomever can provide the complete video recording of the 2003 farewell party for radical Palestinian academic and activist Rashid Khalidi, at which then-state senator Barack Obama spoke--and which the Los Angeles Times has refused to release since reporting the event in April 2008. Then-reporter Peter Wallsten (now with the Wall Street Journal) noted that the event was one of many signs that had encouraged Palestinian-Americans to believe "that Obama is more receptive to their viewpoint than he is willing to say." Wallsten explained: Their belief is not drawn from Obama's speeches or...

As I watch the media circus surrounding Marianne Gingrich's interview regarding her relationship with her ex-husband and GOP candidate, Newt Gingrich, I am once again reminded of the double standard afforded to the Democrats and Barack Obama in particular. Coming on the heels of the Herman Cain melee in which the press had a field day parading one accuser after another before video cameras, it is difficult not to repeat the question of why the Democrats get a free pass. Why are calls for Mitt Romney to release his tax return not met with calls for Barack Obama to release...

An LGF reader contacted Columbia University (and a lot of other potential sources, including the LA Times) with a polite request that they help release the tape of Rashid Khalidi with Barack Obama (the video the Los Angeles Times has ... unbelievably ... decided to suppress during a hotly contested election): From: [redacted] To: [redacted] Sent: Mon Oct 27 18:28:41 2008 Subject: Please release Khalidi’s 2003 tapeDear Madam or Sir,It has come to my attention that the LA Times in in possession of a tape recording a 2003 farewell party for Rashid Khalidi. Freepers - this was the most fun I've had with my clothes on in as long as I can remember. Big Shout out to RonDog -what a guy! Maybe he'll help with the next trick. Please ask him. One of the best parts was when the LA Times security guard came out and said, "It's cool. I'm voting McCain..." Vid is available several places. Jewishjournal.com is one. popmodal.com is working on theirs. Should be ready around 10PM PDT. There were LA Times employees in the windows giving us thumbs up! The best part is that we're doing this again Fri...

Over 100 Pumas are there already. . . . . . Today we are demanding that the LA Times release the videotape of Barack Obama at a Chicago dinner for Rashid Khalidi. Khalidi is a prominent pro-Palestine scholar and professor at Columbia University who has written extensively about Palestinian issues. Unsurprisingly, he is not popular in many pro-Israeli circles. This is irrelevant to our effort. Rashid Khalidi is not the point. What is at issue here is what Barack Obama said at the dinner, and more importantly, what on earth is a supposedly free press organization like the L.A. Times...

Inspired by commentators on the Internet and cable television, thousands of people e-mailed and phoned The Times to demand the release of the tape. Hundreds of others expressed support for the paper’s decision. The controversy stems from an article by Times staff writer Peter Wallsten that the newspaper published on April 10, exploring Obama’s relationships with Palestinian Americans and Jews in Chicago. The article explained how Obama had managed to be held in high esteem by both groups. It described a party in 2003 for Khalidi, a renowned scholar on the Palestinians who in the 1970s had acted as a...

It has recently come to the attention of Freedom March.org that the Los Angeles Times is in possession of a videotape that allegedly features then Illinois state senator Barack Obama toasting Rashid Khalidi. Mr. Khalidi is a former spokesman for the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO). Khalidi’s ties to this terrorist organization along with his many anti-Israel statements are very disturbing, even more so if he has the friendship and support of a potential US President! Freedommarch.org believes that the refusal of the Times to release this tape is but one more example of the clear bias in the “main stream...
