Malkin readers are protesting today at the LA Times over the Khalidi tape release.
There’s something I don’t understand about this story. The LA Times are saying they won’t release the tape because they have to protect their source. No one is asking for their source. Release the tape and let the source remain anonymous.

The goal of this protest shouldn’t be to get them to release the tape, it should be to cause enough of a traffic problem or enough of a scene that the protest itself will be the news. Then during the coverage of “PROTEST SNARLS TRAFFIC IN LA” the reporters may actually give out the news to millions that the protest is based upon the Times’ refusal to release a tape in which Obama toasts a terrorist supporter, sides with terrorists over Jews, etc. It’s a long shot that it would be covered this way, but probably a better shot than that the Times will actually release any tape based upon the protest.
Go get them FREEPers!!! I am in Florida, but I pray you show up in droves at the LA Times!!! We need this election to go toward Freedom and not Marxism!!!

If they hold the tape till after the election, or if they never release it at all, it will be the greatest disservice the media has ever done to the state of our nation. This is blatant electioneering, even surpassing the “fake but accurate” bush memo. At least fake news can be debunked, withheld truth can’t always be freed.

??What secret source would give a tape to a media outlet so that it couldn’t be aired or seen in print??
Secret source would keep it under the mattress if he wanted to have it remain secret!

I am beginning to smell a rat. Stick with me for a minute. What if this tape shows Obama standing up to the bashing by making some plea for common sense and respect for the great Jewish people. This is a design by the dems to get the release and show his human side to the sheeple.

Yes, they are not claiming that the source does not want to be revealed, they are claiming that the source does not want the tape released, which is utterly ridicules since they sent it to the LAT, which will not even release a transcript.
