The Labor Department paid out hundreds of thousands of dollars in federal stimulus funds to a public relations firm to run more than 100 commercials touting the Obama administration’s “green training” job efforts on two popular MSNBC cable shows, records show. The commercials ran on MSNBC on shows hosted by Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann in 2009, but the contract didn’t report any jobs created, according to records recently reviewed by The Washington Times.

Does it seem you hear a little bit less about political controversies in the sports world than you did a year or two ago? Do you find yourself grumbling at your television, “I just want to enjoy watching the game” less frequently? Today’s Los Angeles Times profiles ESPN President Jimmy Pitaro, who took over running the network in March 2018. Deep in the article: Pitaro has also satisfied ESPN’s more traditional fans by steering commentators away from political discussions on-air and on social media, which heightened during President Trump’s criticism of NFL player protests against social injustice during the playing...

@KeithOlbermann “This pea-brained scumbag identifies himself as Hunter Waltman and we should do our best to make sure the rest of his life is a living hell.” “And the nitwit clown who wrote this fawning piece should be fired.” "We have spoken to him about not making personal attacks," an ESPN representative said in a statement. "Someone with his following needs to understand the possible impact of his words," Hall noted. ”Telling over 1 million people to make someone’s life a living hell could have seriously dangerous consequences. Conservatives on Twitter lashed out following the swift cancellation of Roseanne Barr's hit ABC program after here racist tweet, citing a double-standard in entertainment for those who are conservative or support President Trump. The right-leaning critics took particular aim at ESPN’s decision to hire Keith Olbermann and MSNBC’s continued employment of Joy Reid. Both have made provocative comments in the past. ABC canceled Barr’s show after she wrote a tweet that referred to former Obama senior adviser Valerie Jarrett as a product of the “The Planet of the Apes” and “the Muslim Brotherhood.” Olbermann was recently hired by ESPN for...

Besides the masses know by now that it is ex-president Barack Obama who is the leader of the Resistance and not the admittedly burned-out GQ talking head of ‘The Resistance’. Only Keith Olbermann could toss in the towel on the world of political commentary and throw an online Retirement Party, attended only by the retiree himself. Only an arrogant Keith Olbermann would take credit as he headed out the door for bringing impeachment down upon the head of President Donald Trump. Only Blowhard Olbermann could call Trump the “Harvey Weinstein” of politics, licking his lips at the prospect of Trump...

Lunatic left-wing commentator, or something, Keith Olbermann, used the whole dustup between the President and Sen. Running-Off-At-The-Mouth as his smokescreen for “ending all political commentary in all venues.” In other words, Olbermann, who has been fired so many times by so many media outlets it’s hard to count, was most likely fired by his only current outlet, the dying GQ Magazine. In a farewell Tweet, the former bad sports newsreader for the also-dying ESPN had this to say: “After “Pocahontas,” Trump’s an ex-president waiting to happen – imminently. So this will be the last episode of #TheResistanceGQ. If you’re a...

Keith Olbermann, the anti-Trump video blogger, announced on Monday that he is retiring from political commentary. The former MSNBC host made the announcement during the final episode of “The Resistance,” a political show sponsored by GQ that airs on Youtube.

@KeithOlbermann NEW VIDEO: The last episode of #TheResistanceGQ. The good news: I’m finishing it because, especially after the “Pocahontas” debacle, I think Trump is unavoidably, inevitably, and in every possible path open to him, FINISHED

Within hours of the horrendous Texas church shooting, Keith Olbermann called President Donald Trump a “pig” for invoking God instead of gun control. The shooting occurred Sunday morning in Sutherland Springs, Texas, where a 26-year-old man who was reportedly “an atheist” and who thought Christians were “stupid” opened fire on the congregants of First Baptist Church. The attacker killed 26 people. His violence was stopped by a good guy with a gun who “took cover behind a car” and shot at the attacker. President Trump was in Japan when the attack occurred. He tweeted: May God be w/ the people...

The New York Times "conservative" columnist David Brooks has become as unhinged as Keith Olbermann. Yes, Brooks has joined "The Resistance" and now urges a scorched earth policy when it comes to President Donald Trump. Even if a policy would help the country, it must be resisted, according to Brooks' new twisted logic, if it also helps Trump. Even those who oppose Trump but support some of his policies, such as the upcoming tax bill, would be considered lousy collaborators by Brooks who is now channeling his inner Olbermann. Should you think your humble correspondent is exaggerating about just how unhinged Brooks...

So what sort of fringe crazies are still clutching to Russia Russia Russia? Well, apparently, Keith Olbermann is grasping at completely laughable straws in the desperate hope that it will soon lead to Trump's departure. He so badly needs it that his promotion of that conspiracy theory, that even Jake Tapper seems to have backed away from it, could best be described as Resignation Porn. Here is Olbermann's August 22 'Resistance' video in which he feigns certainty that Trump's resignation is just around the corner:So what sort of fringe crazies are still clutching to Russia Russia Russia? Well, apparently, Keith Olbermann...

NBC News correspondent Katy Tur tweeted Thursday that 17 intelligence agencies agree Russia meddled in the U.S. election, reiterating a liberal talking point so blatantly false that even The New York Times and the Associated Press have issued corrections. “Here is a list of the 17 US intel agencies/offices that have said Russia meddled in our election,” Tur tweeted. Katy Tur Katy Tur’s claim of 17 intel agencies. Screenshot/Twitter. While an October intelligence report expressed high confidence that Russia meddled with the election to undermine Hillary Clinton’s campaign, that confidence only represents the views of the FBI, NSA and CIA...

Remember all the comedic fun you had from watching videos of unhinged liberals in the wake of President Donald Trump's election victory last November? Well, the good news is we are now experiencing a new wave of highly entertaining unhinged liberal videos due to the May 9 firing of FBI Director James Comey by the President. What makes this new wave of comedic videos especially funny is that the unhinged liberals are well known media figures such as the "raging" David Gregory and Jeffrey Toobin losing his mind. However, funny as these videos are, they might not match the totally...

Some feuds die hard. Joe Scarborough and Keith Olbermann have one going back to at least 2008, with another flare-up in 2012. Scarborough’s got the bigger mic now, and he wielded it on today’s Morning Joe to mercilessly mock Olbermann as someone suffering from delusions of Nazi tomatoes that talk to him. The context was Mika Brzezinski role-playing Rex Tillerson being interviewed during his Senate confirmation hearing. Joe played the committee chairman, but couldn’t help himself from launching into an Olby impression, with his trademark “Sirrr!”, then riffing “you do know that he calls tomatoes, that he thinks are staring...

Hilarious, unhinged, rage-machine. I’m not entirely sure that Keith Olbermann had much of a mind to lose but, whatever he did have, I think we can safely say it’s gone now. The election of Donald Trump has reduced the former television personality to a bitter, sputtering, rage-machine who appears determined to become the left-wing Alex Jones. He shakes, screams, and spits his way through conspiracy theories that - if he wasn’t some sort of once-upon-a-time celebrity - he’d probably be scratching into the walls of his cell using only his fingernails.

Green Party nominee Jill Stein is trying to reverse the presidential election result through recounts in three Rust Belt states, and there's a push to have the Electoral College just pick Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump, despite Trump winning more electoral votes, but Keith Olbermann says there's an easier way to strip Trump of power: "The 25th Amendment, Section Four."

Memo To Thief Doberman: take your demeaning, inaccurate slanders and libels and crawl back into the black-hole oblivion of your lost career From Breitbart.com: “In his latest video commentary of GQ magazine, Keith Olbermann weighed on Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s refusal to say he would absolutely accept the outcome of November’s general election. “Trump told moderator Chris Wallace at the final presidential debate he would have to wait and see if he would accept those results, to which Olbermann said was ‘the moral equivalent of treason.’
