Poor Gavin Newsom. Who knew he grew up poor, had to hustle to stay alive, resorting to Wonder Bread and Mac-n-Cheese for meals, according to his latest guest appearance on the “All the Smoke” podcast? Most poor families back in the 1970’s and 1980’s ate generic, day-old store-brand bread, discounted canned soup and meats, and government cheese. I knew skinny poor kids. Here is the “All the Smoke” podcast: Notice during the podcast video Newsom slips into some street slang, claiming “It was about payin’ the bills, man.” “Wonder bread and Mac ‘n cheese. That’s how I grew up, bro.”...

California Governor Gavin Newsom’s wife makes “gender justice” movies and sells them to the state public education system through her non-profit, The Representation Project. By 2023, she had charged the state $1.5 million for her “gender justice” movies. That’s a screaming example of a conflict of interest. If that’s not enough, the governor requested nonprofits and private corporations to contribute to his wife’s charity before taking their side on state issues.

Why would a COVID lab run by a shady Chinese company be operating in Reedly, CA in the central San Joaquin Valley? The lab, which was supposed to be an empty building, was discovered by Reedly city code enforcement officers when they saw a garden hose attached to the building and investigated.

Even as more off-label drug uses are discovered, Orwellian California lawmakers are introducing legislation to silence physicians who speak out on issues directly impacting their patients’ well-being, as well as the treatment of the coronavirus. Last week, Assembly Bill 2098 was introduced by Assemblyman Evan Low (D-Campbell) to punish physicians and surgeons for “unprofessional conduct” for advocating for the potential benefits of early treatment with off-label drugs, or those who dare to ask questions about COVID vaccine safety.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom claims to be following science when he and his Health and Human Secretary Dr. Mark Ghaly issued tyrannical orders to the 40 million residents of California this Thanksgiving to stay home, no singing, no shouting, no music, no parties, eat outside and keep a mask on. However both Newsom and Ghaly continue to ignore the actually credible medical and scientific advice from practicing professionals.

A woman who appears to be a professional protester appeared in the middle of the violent rally against Donald Trump in San Jose, Calif., on Thursday evening. Given the previous appearance of paid-protesters at anti-Trump events, it raises the question of whether the violent mobs have been rented — hence the term “rent-a-mob.” Writing in the Daily Caller in March, Trump supporter Roger Stone said, “I learned most were from MoveOn or the Occupy movement … Several admitted answering a Craig’s list ad paying $16.00 an hour for protesters.” Stone claimed the protesters were “paid for mostly by George Soros...

The media's role as government watchdog doesn't exempt it from accountability for its own excesses and abuses Freedom of the press protects the right to obtain and publish information or opinions without government censorship or fear of punishment, whether or not government finds the material offensive, or disagrees with it. Free speech enables people to obtain information from a diversity of sources, make decisions, and communicate those decisions to the government. Recently I wrote about having my press credential renewal denied by the Capitol Correspondents Association of California, appointed as an arm of the California Legislature’s Joint Rules Committee, which...

Competitive Parenting 1-A http://fetchingjen.blogspot.com/2007/05/competitive-parenting-1.html http://tinyurl.com/2q3zwh By KATY GRIMES, Sacramento Union Columnist Thursday, May 24, 2007 (online) Friday, May 18, 2007 (paper edition) (Sacramento Union) When did parenting become America's most competitive adult sport? Outrageous stories from parents all around Sacramento abound, from parents behaving badly at kids competitive sports events to academic competitiveness. Competitive parenting is out-of-control. Once upon a time in a land far, far away, there was a world where children could play at being children. …playing fields for games of soccer, baseball and capture-the-flag; and tight-knit neighborhoods where kids played hide-and-go-seek and red-rover until it was dark…...
