President Donald Trump hushed CNN’s Kaitlan Collins when announcing his proposed tariff increases, charging that she spoke out of turn. “President, you won the White House, in part, because of high inflation. If your tariffs make prices go up-” she said as Trump immediately interjected. “Excuse me, we haven’t asked you to speak yet,” the president shot back. As the president unveiled the signed tariff plan before reporters, he then asked questions and skipped over Kaitlan Collins.

While speaking with CNN host Kaitlan Collins on Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher said that he doesn’t blame people on the right for thinking CNN is biased against Republicans and stated that their coverage of 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris’ DNC speech was almost all “just gushing about how great a speech it was, and I think she did fine. I didn’t think it was as good as they were making it out to be.”

CNN's Kaitlan Collins received harsh words from conservatives for not challenging Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro's disputed claims about Donald Trump. Collins, one of CNN's emerging stars, interviewed Shapiro on the floor Tuesday night and asked him about Trump's claims that antisemitism led him to be passed over for Harris' running mate. 'Donald Trump has absolutely no credibility to speak on that issue,' Shapiro said. 'He is a person who has acted bigoted, he is a person who spreads hate.'
