House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on Tuesday blocked the names of the 13 US service members killed in the Kabul blast from being read after a moment of silence on the House floor.“How badly do Nancy Pelosi and the House Democrats want to cover up this Afghanistan debacle? They just blocked Members of Congress from reading the names of the service members who sacrificed their lives in Afghanistan last week.” Congressman Gimenez said on Tuesday.“Don’t you think our military deserves better?” he added.https://twitter.com/RepCarlos/status/1432751530516652033Rep. The death toll in Thursday’s terrorist attack in Kabul, Afghanistan, rose overnight, and more than 200 people are now believed dead from a suicide bombing near Hamid Karzai International Airport, where many were desperately trying to escape the country on final evacuation flights. Although the Pentagon initially said there were two explosions, they walked back the claim Friday afternoon and said it was only one. “The death toll in a pair of suicide bombings that rocked Kabul yesterday has now risen to nearly 200 on Friday as evacuation flights remain ongoing,” Fox News reported early Friday. “169 Afghans were killed...

Joe Biden crumbled when confronted by reporters with the deaths of 13 troops and 90 people who were slaughtered at Kabul airport on Thursday by two ISIS bomb attacks in the latest tragic episode of his disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. The 78-year-old President was lost for words at times and and frustrated in others, gripping his notebook and widening his eyes while reporters from a pre-approved list asked him questions for about 30 minutes. The press conference was at 5pm, nearly eight hours after the two blasts. Biden said nothing all day before the briefing. When pressed, accepted responsibility for...

Media access to Vice President Kamala Harris's address to U.S. troops at Pearl Harbor was suddenly blocked on Thursday. No explanation was given, according to the White House press pool, but the move came hours after two explosions outside the airport in Kabul killed 13 U.S. service members and 60 Afghans during evacuations....

Americans in Afghanistan are being warned to stay away from the Kabul airport due to terror threats tied to the Islamic State. The US Embassy in Kabul sent out an alert early Thursday, Afghanistan time, telling US citizens not to travel to the airport “because of security threats outside the gates. [snip] The State Department security alert also told Americans who where at three specific airport gates to “leave immediately,” without further explanation. [snip] “US citizens who are at the Abbey Gate, East Gate, or North Gate now should leave immediately,” it added.

At least twelve U.S. service members have been killed by the deadly terror attacks at the Kabul airport, which were reportedly carried out by ISIS. Fifteen others were reportedly wounded. And Joe Biden, the commander-in-chief, is nowhere to be found. No statements have been issued by the White House, save for “A Proclamation on Women’s Equality Day, 2021,” which is ironic considering the implications the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan has on Afghan women and girls. Biden has canceled various meetings scheduled for today in order to meet with defense officials, but he’s made no statement or public address. It is...

KABUL, Afghanistan - At least 12 U.S. service members were killed in a pair of suicide attacks outside the Kabul airport in Afghanistan, including 11 Marines and one Navy medic, two U.S. officials told the Associated Press.

Ten US servicemembers were killed in a series of suicide bomb attacks on Kabul airport on Thursday, the first American lives to be lost since Biden's disastrous evacuation effort began on August 14. The President has not commented publicly on the deaths and he is not scheduled to make any kind of statement or speech on Thursday. The deafening silence has angered Republicans who say the blood of those killed is on his hands. Dozens of people were killed, according to those on the ground including a New York Times reporter who counted 40 dead bodies. The Wall Street Journal...

Here’s what we know so far: The explosion outside the Kabul airport is “definitely believed” to have been carried out by the Islamic State group, a U.S. official told The Associated Press. The U.S. ambassador in Kabul has told staff there that four U.S. Marines were killed in an explosion at the city’s airport and three wounded, a U.S. official with knowledge of the briefing said. Two explosions ripped through crowds of Afghans trying to enter the airport on Thursday. At least three U.S. troops were injured, a U.S. official said. Witnesses reported multiple fatalities among the Afghans, many of whom were trying to enter the airport because they had assisted U.S.-led coalition efforts and feared persecution by the Taliban.
