Rabbi Yekutiel Fish, a prominent mystic from Jerusalem, gave a lesson last week in which he proved through a precise mathematical equation that next year will be the final Jubilee before the arrival of the Messiah. “We are now in the month of Shevat on the eve of the Messiah,” Rabbi Fish said at the beginning of his lesson. “If you happen to hear a shofar, don’t be alarmed or confused,” the rabbi joked. “It is only the arrival of the Messiah.” Rabbi Fish attributed the teaching to Rabbi Oren Evron, a prominent mystic-numerologist. “Rabbi Evron told me the following...

Poor and middle-income parents at hundreds of colleges have taken on substantial debt—amounts sometimes more than twice their annual income—to help their children through school, new federal figures show. The schools with the largest parent debt burdens aren’t world-famous Ivy League schools, a Wall Street Journal analysis of the data found. Rather, they include art schools, historically Black colleges and small private colleges where parents are borrowing nearly six-figure amounts to fulfill their children’s college dreams, the analysis found. For the first time, the U.S. Education Department, through its annual release of college financial data, provided information Wednesday on the...

On one hand you have spoiled, unmotivated and wealthy scions that just don't care and well-meaning parents push them into college to "make something positive happen." Join Greg Hunter as he goes One-on-One with Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, author of the best-seller “The Book of Mysteries.” Jonathan Cahn’s latest best-seller is called “The Book of Mysteries.” Cahn says, “The Book of Mysteries is literally opening up hundreds of the mysteries of God. Everything from the mysteries of the end times, mysteries behind history, mysteries of Heaven and mysteries of finding your own destiny, as well. The reason I was led to do this book is I believe we are going to have very challenging times ahead, especially for believers, very challenging times. God wants people to be...

The Lie That Won't DieWow. White folks really are wicked. At any rate, this is the only judgment for a viewer to make upon watching the History Channel’s recent remake of Alex Haley’s Roots. A mini-series coming in at over eight hours and airing over four nights, the newest Roots features numerous white characters: men, women, and children; Union and Confederate soldiers; British Red Coats and colonial American troops. With a single exception—a white female Union spy—they are all portrayed as evil. Granted, some white characters are more sadistic than others, but virtually all—including the children—are indistinguishable from one another...

Jubilee of Mercy: A Final Gift, Prophecies, End TimesKathleen Beckman Not yet half way through the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy, the universal Church continues to invite the faithful to focus on the need to ask for Divine Mercy and to be reconciled with the Father of Mercy. Repentance and conversion are central to the call to become ambassadors of the Father’s mercy for others. Acknowledging the deep need for Divine Mercy and cultivating a merciful heart is more challenging than it appears.St. John Paul II’s 1980 encyclical, Dives in Misericordia (Rich in Mercy), taught, “The present day mentality, more perhaps...

The Jewish People will begin celebrating the Jubilee of Jerusalem's liberation and reunification next month, marking the 50th year after the Six Day War – but pro-war Israelis and other Jews plan to take advantage of the yearlong festivities to call worldwide for a unilateral Israeli withdrawal from Judea, Samaria and eastern Jerusalem. Previous unilateral withdrawals in favor of the Palestinian Authority have led to many Israeli deaths at the hands of Palestinian terrorists. This includes the disengagement/expulsion from Gaza. The government decided last year to appoint a steering committee to set the tone of Jerusalem's Jubilee festivities. Its conclusions...

Pope Francis has sent more than 1,000 priests on a global mission to forgive grave sins that normally only he, or a top Church official, may pardon. The Missionaries of Mercy, nicknamed the super-confessors, were given the special license for the Vatican's Jubilee year, which ends in November. Grave sins include defiling consecrated bread and wine, violating confessional secrecy, and plotting to kill a pope. ...

Rorate Caeli + Tempus Septuagesimæ + The Pope's Traditional Masterstroke to bring Crowds to the Jubilee So...the 2016 Mercy Jubilee was not the popular success that had been foreseen. What was the solution? The Pope had the Capuchins bring to Rome from different points of Italy two of the most popular and traditional saints of the 20th Century, great Apostles of Penance and Confession: Sts. Padre Pio and Leopold Mandic. And the crowds suddenly appeared for the venerable Relics! Hail Tradition!

Pope Francis has explained his plans for the Jubilee Year of Mercy, in an interview with the Italian magazine Credere. "I believe that this is the time for mercy," the Pope said. "We are all sinners, all of us carry inner burdens." The idea of a Year of Mercy reflects a theme that has been developed by previous Pontiffs, Pope Francis said. In particular he mentioned St. John Paul II, who wrote Dives in Misericordia and instituted the feast of Divine Mercy. The emphasis on God's mercy, the Pope continued, is a "relatively recent renewal of a tradition that has...

SINGAPORE – Over 50,000 Christians who gathered to pray for the growing unity among churches and within the nation at the Jubilee Day of Prayer event to mark Singapore's 50th year of independence were joined by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong today (July 5). President Tony Tan and his wife, Mary Tan, as well as Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen were also among the crowd at the Singapore Sports Hub. The event, which was co-organised by the National Council of Churches in Singapore (NCCS) and the Evangelical Fellowship of Singapore, took an offering, which “will be donated to help the...

A Jubilee of Mercy sounds wonderful. In previous pontificates I would be very happy about it. But this is no ordinary time. Was this Cardinal Baldisseri's idea? Cardinal Kasper's clever idea? After all, he's the expert on mercy, isn't he? I can only speak for myself. I have had two years of this strange 'mercy nullifies God's law, so there' weirdness streaming from the Vatican. That's two years in which my cynicism has matured. Faithful Catholics don't - won't - say "hurrah" to what amounts to a blanket betrayal by the Hierarchy of Christ's own teaching by distributing communion to...

JERUSALEM – Judah Ben Samuel was a legendary and prolific German rabbi of the 12th century who made some astonishing and specific predictions about the future of Jerusalem and Israel that came true. Judah Ben Samuel, also known as Judah he-Hasid (Judah the Pious), lived and worked from the end of the 12th century until the beginning of the 13th century in Regensburg, authoring a number of books in the German language. snip Judah Ben Samuel also prophesied that during the 10th Jubilee Jerusalem would be under the control of the Jews and the Messianic “end times” would begin. If...

Forgiveness of debts, as well as sins, is specifically addressed in the Bible. The Book of Leviticus provides that every 25-50 years there will be a Jubilee, where all slaves and prisoners are freed, sins and debts are foregiven and property returned. Later Pope Boniface VIII decreed that a Jubilee shall take place every 50 years, and that extraordinary Jubilees would be decreed when necessary. If ever there was a time when the world needed an extraordinary Jubilee, it’s now! Debt, at all levels of society, keeps going higher and higher with no end in sight. Currency units are now...

It rained on the grand flotilla on the Thames marking the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. How appropriate. It meant that at the center of all the pageantry of the 1,000-boat extravaganza, an 86-year-old woman stood in the elements and waved to her subjects for hours, without betraying a hint of discomfort or complaint. Queen Elizabeth is a miracle of dutifulness. In an era of irresponsibility, she always does what is expected of her. In an age of self-expression, she has subsumed herself in her institution. In a time of informality and ill manners, she observes all the rules,...

The Queen today renewed her pledge to serve the country as her Diamond Jubilee celebrations started with a bang in the form of gun salutes in Edinburgh and London. The 85-year-old monarch usually spends the anniversary of her accession privately to mark the passing of her father George VI. But, today she travelled from Sandringham - which, like much of England, is blanketed with snow - to King's Lynn to meet local dignitaries and tour the town hall ahead of her visit to nearby Dersingham Infant and Nursery School.

Jubilee Medal of St. Benedict The medal of St. Benedict is a very powerful sacramental with exorcizing properties; the exorcism is written right on it. First a little history: St. Benedict of Nursia, Italy (A.D. 480-543), the twin brother of St. Scholastica, is considered to be the Father of Western monasticism, and his "Rule of St. Benedict" came to be the basis of organization for many religious orders (his own Order has its cradle at Monte Cassino, Italy, about 80 miles South of Rome). At any rate, in order to understand the symbology of the Medal, you must know of...
