Former President Bill Clinton’s sexual assault accuser Juanita Broadrick was suspended from Twitter for claiming Covid vaccines “alter DNA.” On Saturday, Broadrick tweeted: “When will this vaccine crap be over? Big Pharma has profited enough for the next hundred years. Stop pushing vaccines that don’t work and alter DNA.” In a statement, Twitter claimed that the account was suspended because of a violation of the policy on “spreading misleading and potentially harmful information” about the pandemic.

The Clinton Presidential Center and Library opens this week in Little Rock. Like him or not, we must admit that William Jefferson Clinton leaves a powerful legacy, one that vastly expands the ability of political leaders to misbehave and remain in office. One of the most embarrassing but in many ways illuminating endeavors of academics, media pundits, and certain recent inhabitants of the White House, is to focus on something called a “Presidential Legacy.” Bill Clinton spent an inordinate amount of time “building” his. Of course, most presidential legacies take years to develop and evolve. Harry Truman, for example, was...

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - As Bill Clinton's library is unveiled at a gala opening this week, one thing is certain: His messy legacy will be on full display. One alcove will be dedicated to impeachment, and organizers have promised not to sidestep even Monica Lewinsky or Paula Jones. The 58-year-old political superstar is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of visitors a year to his library."Bill Clinton is a rock star," said Skip Rutherford, head of Clinton's nonprofit foundation that built the $165 million library. BIG ADO FOR BILL IN LITTLE ROCK November 5, 2004 -- THE Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock opens Nov. 18, with a four-day celebration that begins Nov. 14. President Clinton Avenue will be turned into a mall. Bands, singers, stalls, merchants, gifts, arts and crafts, big video screens, bleachers, whatevers enough for 27,000 guests. No room to accommodate the 35,000 requests for invites. The leftover 8,000 will have to watch on TV or read my description today. Maggie Williams, who was Hillary's White House chief of staff and Bill's post-White House chief of staff, gave me an advance tour....

LAS VEGAS, Oct. 29 -- He was an hour late. So when President Bill Clinton took the stage this afternoon at the Clark County Government Center amphitheater, the crowd acted like starving dogs presented with thick, juicy steak. "We love you! We love you!" a group of women screamed, drowning out Clinton's opening lines for hundreds of people around them. The Comeback Kid had come to Las Vegas for his first solo campaign appearance in a swing state since his quadruple-bypass heart surgery, a compliment the crowd of 2,500 was determined to return. They cheered at whatever he said, laughed...

LITTLE ROCK - Many credit President Clinton's visit to Pine Bluff four years ago on behalf of Mike Ross as turning the tide for Ross in the 4th District congressional race. Ron Oliver, state chairman of the Democratic Party, said Friday he hopes Clinton's visit Sunday will have the same effect for John Kerry and give the Democratic presidential nominee the bounce needed to win the state on Tuesday. "Yes, he could easily have the same effect this time," Oliver said about Clinton's appearance Sunday at a rally at the Aerospace Education Center near the Little Rock National Airport. The...

LAS VEGAS -- Former President Bill Clinton rallied Democrats in Nevada on Friday, hoping to energize voters just four days before the election to give John Kerry enough momentum to win this battleground state. Clinton, who carried Nevada in both his presidential bids, spoke of his accomplishments during eight years in the White House and drew parallels to what the country could expect from a Kerry administration. "We can make a fresh start," Clinton told the cheering crowd. "And I know John Kerry. He will make a good president if you elect him on Tuesday." About 4,000 people gathered on...

Clinton's Junk Food Diet Concerned Hillary Former President Had Quadruple Bypass Surgery In September Oct 29, 2004 11:36 am US/Eastern NEW YORK (AP) Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton said she worried that former President Clinton's low-carbohydrate, high-protein diet was unhealthy before he was diagnosed with heart disease, but that he brushed off her concerns. "I didn't think it was healthy, but I know so many people who are doing that now. I'd say, 'You really think you should have a cheeseburger every day for lunch?"' she said in an interview broadcast Friday on ABC News' "Good Morning America." The former president...

I need help Freepers. Someone here, I know, has a quick link or bookmark they can send me. Back when Clinton was emroiled in the Juanita Broadrick rape allegations, his attorney David Kendall, released a statement saying (paraphrasing), "The president did not rape Juanita Broadrick in 1976." To this, George Will, in his always brilliant and incisive way, responded that, coming from Clinton, one has to ask which part he's parsing, that Clinton wasn't president then, her name wasn't Broadrick then, or perhaps the year was incorrect. In my opinion, this ranks among one of the most cutting and insightful...

There they are! The Persons Of The Year according to the esteemed editors of Time Magazine. Cynthia Cooper, Coleen Rowley and Sherron Watkins, whistleblowers to WorldCom, the FBI and Enron, America's new square-jawed superheroes. I couldn't help but wonder…when did Time suddenly appreciate the plight of whistleblowers? We can only speculate, but you could almost see the editors of Time breathlessly drooling. Each woman certainly had their 60s feminist credentials in order: Overdriven, maniacally obsessive breadwinners, complete with a little man in the kitchen nurturing those inconvenient children as she climbed the career ladder…then single handedly assaulted the system by...
