MILWAUKEE — Wisconsin has become an unexpected battleground for Donald Trump and the conglomeration of forces desperately aligning against him, with Tuesday’s primary emerging as a key moment that could reshape the Republican nominating contest both mathematically and psychologically. Ted Cruz — who has tried to unite conservative activists, talk-radio personalities and the party establishment — stands poised to take some air out of the Trump balloon. Bleeding from two weeks of self-inflicted wounds and behind in the polls here, Trump scrambled over the weekend to make up ground here he has lost to the Texas senator.

Donald Trump's operation in Tennessee says the Republican Party is trying to "steal" the state's primary election after Trump won it. On Super Tuesday, March 1, Trump won Tennessee, with 38.9 percent of voters to the 24.7 percent for Sen. Ted Cruz. The results won Trump 33 delegates. Cruz received 16 delegates. But Trump's team argues that the Tennessee Republican Party is interfering with the selection process of the delegates, the Tennessean reports. "They're picking anti-Trump people," Darren Morris, Trump's Tennessee state director said.

John McCain predicts. "They have him positioned to spring the upset," Kurt Davis, a GOP operative in Arizona, told The Hill. "They just have to deliver."

"You can cast a vote on Super Tuesday for Marco Rubio or John Kasich, who have no mathematical path to the nomination at this point. Frankly, they're serving as nothing more than spoilers... You can fall pray to the media hype of "the Duper." Or, you can vote to set America back on a constitutional course by voting for Ted Cruz. I choose the latter and I hope you will too."
