Any history writer sees the Mongols, who devastated the Islamdom in the 13th century, as heartless barbarians. Little do they care to investigate what incited such utter rage among them. It is the Jihadis tormenting the Mongols and Turks for one-and-a-half centuries leading to a fierce and vicious counter-attack by the Mongols on Islamdom from 1200 to 1258. An attack that was fiercer than the Crusades and which nearly wiped out Islam.
