The Republican Jewish Coalition Victory Fund is out with two new ads in Pennsylvania's Senate race targeting Democratic nominee John Fetterman over a 2013 incident where he pulled a firearm on an unarmed Black jogger. The ads feature two Black voters discussing the incident. "My message to Black voters: do your homework about John Fetterman," one woman says in the first ad. "He didn't even apologize and now he wants our vote?" she adds. The ad is a reminder of a 2013 incident that occurred when Fetterman was mayor of Braddock, Pennsylvania. After hearing shots fired outside of his home,...

The race in Pennsylvania between Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz and Democrat John Fetterman is heating up. While all polls show Fetterman up over Oz, the big lead Fetterman once maintained is slowly being whittled down. Ever so slowly but enough so that Real Clear Politics shows Fetterman up by 6.5 points while the last Emerson poll, for example, shows Fetterman up by 4 points. Keep the faith. Anything can happen in the last couple of months before an election. Lately Oz, a medical doctor, has been hitting Fetterman for failing to agree to debates, a legit complaint. Voters have a...

A new ad hitting airwaves in Pennsylvania is hammering Democrat U.S. Senate nominee — and current Lt. Governor — John Fetterman for an incident that happened in 2013 when the then-mayor of Braddock held a black jogger at gunpoint until police arrived after apparently falsely assuming the man was involved in a crime. The ad includes clips of an interview with the jogger-turned-victim along with quotes from an unapologetic Fetterman on how he "may have" broken the law when he pointed his shotgun at the man's chest. As NBC News reported succinctly, the latest ad in the battleground state is...

On Wednesday, a video of a 2013 local report went viral on social media that featured Fetterman defending his misdeed on camera. At the time, Fetterman had been serving as mayor for the city of Braddock.

The father and son who chased Ahmaud Arbery and shot him in February 2020 will die in prison after being sentenced to life without parole on Friday. Travis and Gregory McMichael were both sentenced to life without parole, while their neighbor William Roddie Bryan, 52, - who filmed the murder - will be eligible for parole. Judge Timothy R. Walmsley did not specify how long he would have to spend in prison - prosecutors asked that he spend at least 15 years behind bars. Typically, the minimum in Georgia is 30 years.

He was at a crossroads, his life stretching out before him, his troubles largely behind him. He had enrolled at South Georgia Technical College, preparing to become an electrician, just like his uncles. But first, he decided, he would take a break. College could wait until the fall. To help keep his head clear, he ran, just about every day. Off he’d go, out of the doors of his mother’s house, down the long street toward Fancy Bluff Road. Then would come the right turn onto the two-lane road lined by oak trees draped with Spanish moss. About a mile...
