JIMMY MASSEY'S LIES: THE AP FINALLY WAKES UP By Michelle Malkin · December 14, 2005 09:01 AM More than a month after Ron Harris of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch exposed the fraudulent anti-war veteran Jimmy Massey's lies about alleged atrocities committed by him and his fellow Marines, the Associated Press has finally, finally acknowledged its own role in spreading Massey's unsubstantiated smears: In a lengthy telephone interview with The Associated Press, Massey repeated his claim that his unit _ and he personally _ fired on the demonstrators. He said four were killed. He said his original estimate of 10 was...

Former Marine Staff Sgt. Jimmy Massey was the liberal media's dream come true: An anti-war Iraq veteran who came forward to publicly lambaste the Bush administration and accuse American troops of murdering innocent civilians.

When the Abu Graib story broke, thanks to Mary Mapes of Rathergate fame, the mainstream news media collectively hyperventilated. In fact, the venerable New York Times ran more stories about the abuse at that Iraqi military prison than any other news story in recent history. The allegations leveled against the US military fit perfectly with the liberal media's view of American soldiers and intelligence officers: that they are brutal, ruthless killers and torturers. Even Democrat politicians appeared to become unhinged with their vitriol as they pointed to media reports regarding Abu Graib and, to a lesser degree, the Guantanamo Bay,...

For more than a year, former Marine Staff Sgt. Jimmy Massey has been telling anybody who will listen about the atrocities that he and other Marines committed in Iraq. In scores of newspaper, magazine and broadcast stories, at a Canadian immigration hearing and in numerous speeches across the country, Massey has told how he and other Marines recklessly, sometimes intentionally, killed dozens of innocent Iraqi civilians. Among his claims: Marines fired on and killed peaceful Iraqi protesters. Americans shot a 4-year-old Iraqi girl in the head. A tractor-trailer was filled with the bodies of civilian men, women and children killed...

JIMMY MASSEY: A SLANDERER AND HIS MSM ENABLERS By Michelle Malkin · November 07, 2005 11:27 AM The anti-war left's favorite smear artist As I noted over the weekend, Ron Harris's debunking of former Marine Staff Sgt. Jimmy Massey in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch is must-read. To its credit, CNN (once led by a very similar-minded slanderer), had an interview with Ron Harris this morning. Here's the transcript: Former Marine Staff Sergeant Jimmy Massey has published a book in France called, "Kill Kill Kill." It accuses U.S. soldiers of atrocities in Iraq, including the killing of civilian men, women, and...

Cindy Sheehan's Anti-War Marine is a Fraud! Here is the story of former Marine Sgt. Jimmy Massey as printed in the St. Louis Post Dispatch today. He has been out traveling with Cindy Sheehan on her bus tour across the country. Jimmy is a member of Veterans Against the Iraq War. Jimmy traveled to France where they reprinted his anti-war story. Florida Democrat Frank Gonzalez protested with Jimmy in August. But, Jimmy Massey really needs to be behind bars! Once you read the gory, hateful details you will agree. You can hear Jimmy Massey in his own words in a...

PARIS A former U.S. Marine in Iraq alleges that his battalion committed atrocities against Iraqi civilians during the U.S.-led invasion in 2003, including shooting unarmed protesters. Jimmy Massey, a staff sergeant who was in the Marines for 12 years and served three months in Iraq before being honorably discharged with post-traumatic stress syndrome, details the allegations in his book, “Kill! Kill! Kill!”, written with the French journalist Natasha Saulnier and published in France. A Pentagon spokeswoman said Massey's complaints had already been investigated and found to be unsubstantiated. Massey said he was in charge of a platoon in the 3rd...
