A California man who mocked COVID-19 vaccines has died after becoming infected with the virus. Stephen Harmon, 34, died on Wednesday at Corona Regional Medical Center, about an hour east of Los Angeles. Prior to his hospitalization, Harmon shared a series of jokes on social media about vaccines. “I got 99 problems but a vax ain’t one,” he wrote in June on Twitter.

White House chief medical adviser Anthony Fauci says the Moderna vaccine is likely to provide immunity against COVID-19 for at least six months. Fauci told a news conference on Wednesday that there is a considerable amount of information about the duration of immunity. Referring to a study of people who received two doses of the Moderna vaccine, Fauci said antibody activity remained high in all age groups for at least six months.
