SAN DIEGO — The man who hoarded bomb-making materials in his North County home, turning the rental into a virtual “bomb factory” before it was burned down last year, was sentenced Monday to 30 years in federal prison. George Jakubec, 55, received the mandatory minimum sentence for the two felony charges he pleaded guilty to — carrying a firearm during a bank robbery and during an attempted bank robbery.
