The heartbroken mother of a soldier held captive by Hamas terrorists today wept over her daughter's coffin after the 19-year-old and another hostage were found dead in Gaza's Al-Shifa hospital complex. That news came today, with the IDF confirming they had found the remains of Noa and another hostage Yehudit Weiss, 64, from a building adjacent to the hospital where Israeli soldiers are searching for a Hamas command centre. During the hospital raid in which Israeli troops found Noa and Yehudit's bodies, the IDF claimed its forces also found a tunnel shaft used by Hamas terrorists. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin...

Pray For The Peace of JerusalemMatthew 17The Temple Tax 24 After Jesus and his disciples arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the two-drachma temple tax came to Peter and asked, “Doesn’t your teacher pay the temple tax?” 25 “Yes, he does,” he replied. When Peter came into the house, Jesus was the first to speak. “What do you think, Simon?” he asked. “From whom do the kings of the earth collect duty and taxes—from their own children or from others?” 26 “From others,” Peter answered. “Then the children are exempt,” Jesus said to him. 27 “But so that we may...

slamic Jew-hatred - it's in the Quran. Is this surprising? No. And it's proof of the nefarious convergence of leftism and antisemitism. Labour is left. Interesting note: it was a blogger who discovered the hate-filled post. Bloggers are doing the work the media won't. "Labour MP forced to resign after calling for Israel to be 'relocated' to the US," By Greg Heffer, Political Reporter, The Express, April 26, 2016: A LABOUR MP has been forced to resign her role as an aide to shadow chancellor John McDonnell after supporting calls for Israel to be 'relocated' to the United States. Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem The Book of PsalmsPsalm 23 A Psalm Of David 1. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. 3. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. 4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. 5. You prepare a table before me in the...

There is no solution to the final status issues of Jerusalem, borders and refugees that both sides will agree to. Nevertheless President Obama is committed to forcing an agreement. Recently two top administration officials advised David Ignatius, Washington Post, to the effect that Pres Obama is "seriously considering" proposing an American peace plan which would be based on “agreements nearly reached” in the past. This is outrageous, as I will explain and it has no chance of succeeding. Of course they repeated the mantra that "[e]veryone knows the basic outlines of a peace deal" but they omitted to say, that...

More than 3,000 pro-Israel evangelical Christians will be in town next week for a "Washington/Israel summit" to push the Bush administration toward stronger support for the Jewish state. Starting with a banquet July 18 at the Hilton Washington and visits to Capitol Hill the next morning, the inaugural gathering of Christians United for Israel (CUFI) will showcase a deeper cooperation between evangelical Christians and Jews in the face of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's suggestion in October, often reiterated since, that Israel "be wiped off the map." Organizers say Israeli Ambassador Daniel Ayalon, retired Israeli defense chief Lt. Gen. Moshe Yaalon...

Egypt's President Mubarak and Jordan's King Abdullah, who met this week, issued a joint call against Ehud Olmert's planned transfer of vast areas of Judea and Samaria to the control of Hamas. The two leaders met in Aqaba, the Jordanian port city adjacent to Eilat, and warned that one-sided solutions will not help in promoting the peace process or regional stability. They said that Israel must negotiate not with Hamas, but with Abu Mazen, the leader of the Fatah organization. Middle Eastern affairs expert Dr. David Bukai of Haifa University notes the irony, explaining that Egypt and Jordan are more...

US director Steven Spielberg discusses his controversial new film "Munich," which deals with the aftermath of the massacre of Israeli athletes at the 1972 Olympics. In an interview with DER SPIEGEL he talks about the moral aspects of dealing with terrorism and responds to critics who claim he's betrayed the Jewish people. SPIEGEL: Mr. Spielberg, can you remember the hours of the Olympic massacre? Do you know where you were when you heard the terrible news? Spielberg: Yes, I do. I was watching a "Wide World of Sports" live broadcast from Munich when the news suddenly flashed in, and the...

Israel has bowed to US pressure to cancel an arms deal with China and will impose tighter controls on its weapons exports in general, Israel's Haaretz newspaper reports. The dispute with the United States centres on Israel's sale of Harpy attack drones and other advanced technology to China which the Pentagon fears could tilt the balance of power and make it difficult to defend Taiwan. Agreeing to US demands, Israel will not return Harpy spare parts that China sent to their Israeli manufacturer for upgrading, Haaretz said. Israel, the newspaper said, also accepted a US demand to implement the 34-nation...

Saif al-Islam, the son of Libya's leader Muammar al-Qadhafi, has denied recent news reports about his meeting a member of the Israeli Knesset on the sidelines of an international parliamentary conference in Athens. He has said, however, that Libya no longer considers Israel a security threat nor is his country in a confrontation with Israel. In an exclusive interview with Aljazeera.net on Thursday, Saif al-Islam described the recent news reports as malicious rumours being spread by "some Arab countries" to spite Libya because of his country's latest political successes (in breaking its international isolation). Saif al-Islam is al-Qaddafi's second eldest...
