Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem

The Book of Psalms
Psalm 23

A Psalm Of David

1. The LORD is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
2. He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
3. He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.

4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff,
they comfort me.

5. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
6. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.

Our Father In Heaven,
Magnified and Sanctified is Your Most Holy and Wonderful Name!
How Magnificent You Are,
How Glorious, Righteous and Just!
For It is You Who Created Everything,
From the Vast Unimaginable Singularities in Space,
To the Minute Inner Workings
of My Own Synapses When I Dream!
You are Eternal, And Forever Good.
There is No Shadow of turning With You.
Your Precepts and Promises Are Everlasting.
You Say It is So, and It Is So.
You Alone Are Worthy,
You Alone Are LORD,
You Alone Are The One True God of Abraham!

Abba Father!
How Precious is Your Holy Word!
How Lovely and Comforting to Know
That You Are Our Shepherd!
You give our weary souls a place of rest and refuge.
You lead us to still waters where we can quench our thirst.
You lead us.
You do not push or compel us,
or destroy the Freedoms we Hold Dear.
We Thank You and Bless Your Holy Name
For The Precious Liberties Your Have Given Us!
How we Plead for You, Dearest Father,
To Raise Up leaders who will be Wise and Godly Leaders.
Leaders who will not oppress and fleece your lambs,
But will LEAD, in a Godly manner,
be good Stewards of Your Green Pastures and Still Waters,
And restore Our Nation as You Restore Our Souls,
And lead Us In Paths of Righteousness For Your Name's Sake.

4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff,
they comfort me.

Father, just as the rod is the symbol of Authority,
And the Staff, the Symbol of Leadership,
We allow this Psalm to minister to us today
as we Pray For Our Own Nation,
and For The Peace of Jerusalem.
For as Your Word tells us
You Will Bless Those Who Bless Your People,
We Pray for those who are presently in power to heed your Word,
Or that You replace them with people who will.

5. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
6. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.

We Pray For Bibi Netayahu,
and the Leaders of Israel May They Receive Wisdom from You to do the Right Thing.

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.
