Residents of the Evergreen State will soon be able to report their neighbors for expressing “bias.” The governor of Washington is poised to sign a bill that ends free speech in certain counties – and the rest of the state probably sometime thereafter. Recently passed by the Washington state legislature, this measure creates a “bias incident hotline” to the State Attorney General’s Office. You read that right: American citizens in the northwestern state will soon be able to turn in their friends, neighbors, family members, or even strangers for not only physical “hate crimes” but also expressions of “bias.” Substitute...

The regime is not pleased. Therefore, Washington State Democrats, led by Gov. Jay Inslee, proposed a new law to root out and smother the opinions, thoughts, and ideas of people who engage in wrong-think, to stop “early signs of radicalization.” And when they find them, to “develop a public health-style response.” Welcome to the Washington State Democrats’ proposed Minority Report Commission, where people drunk with power propose to kill ideas before someone does something “radical,” such as writing their legislators, protesting at school board meetings, disobeying vaccine mandates, refusing to wear masks, or objecting to sexualizing school children. The Evergreen State legislature recently passed a bill banning the word “marijuana” from official state law and documents over concerns that it is “racist.” At the same time, to help increase diversity in the cannabis business, a taxpayer-funded task force has been spending the last two years focusing on helping minorities in Washington state break into the marijuana business. “The term ‘marijuana’ itself is pejorative and racist,” Washington state Representative Melanie Morgan (D) said during testimony regarding the piece of legislation officially known...

A bill in Washington will soon take effect striking the word "marijuana" from all state laws after progressive lawmakers deemed the term "racist." "They've (Republicans) always wanted to follow Donald Trump – that's the central problem here – who first said this [COVID-19] was going to be over by Easter," Inslee said. "Then he told us you could take horse deworming products. And has always diminished our ability, and who refused to help the state of Washington when I asked him to help. And the Republicans in this state have followed him and continue to follow him. And continue to refuse to stand up to his coup attempt," Inslee said.
