Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is two days away from learning whether she has won the Democratic primary for Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District, essentially ensuring her path to reelection. Her challenger, a familiar foe in former Minneapolis Councilman Don Samuels, believes he can unseat the sitting Democrat, arguing while campaigning on Sunday that she has been “divisive.” “The voters have had three terms under Congresswoman Omar’s leadership and service,” Samuels said to FOX 9. “They are dissatisfied.” “She goes hard after one point of view, condemns the other point of view, alienates half of her district, and becomes divisive,” he added.

Heading toward a world of woe. Recently, Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-Mogadishu) held a campaign rally with a former Somali prime minister, who spoke in her favor, noting that she would “represent Somalia” and not “the interests of the American people” in Congress. His appearance has led to an ethics complaint being filed against Ilhan Omar for violating federal election laws, and fighting those charges is likely to lead her into a world of woe. More on this latest complaint filed against Ilhan Omar can be found here: “Ilhan Omar Slapped With Ethics Complaint From Conservative Watchdog Over Holding Rally...

Guys, why is this woman still allowed in the US Congress? Have you ever married a sibling? Like, say, a Somalian Muslim immigrant, who wears a kerchief over her head to connote deep religious integrity and modesty, marrying her brother? What is that like? I mean, really. Can you imagine the quarrels at home? “You know what I hate most about you?” “What?” “I hate your parents. They are the worst Satanic in-laws a man ever could be stuck with!” “Well, the people you are calling Satanic are your parents, too.” “Don’t you dare speak that way about my parents! I’m talking now about your parents!” “My parents are just watching...

WASHINGTON, D.C. — After being removed from the Foreign Affairs Committee over anti-semitic remarks, Representative Ilhan Omar laid the blame on a secret cabal of Jews working against her. "They say I'm being removed for antisemitism, which is the exact sort of excuse you'd expect from a power-hungry Jewish cabal," cried Ms. Omar. "This is all the Jews' fault." Democrats screamed in fury at the announcement of Ms. Omar's removal, enraged that Republicans refused to give open hatred of the Jewish people a pass. "If she were white, that would be one thing - but she's a Muslim woman of...

"I love clothing that makes a statement, such as 'I want to push the Jews into the sea'," said Ms. Omar, showing off her new kicks. "When I looked deep into that mask and heard about Ye's love for Hitler - I realized I had finally found a man who really gets me. Well, besides my brother." After hearing Ye's declaration of hatred for the Jewish people, Ms. Omar immediately purchased an entire wardrobe of his clothing to show her...

..... According to a video clip posted by a Twitter account called PatriotTakes, Boebert made the remarks this holiday break. In the clip, she says she and a staffer were taking a Capitol elevator when she saw an alarmed Capitol police officer running toward them. She said she turned to her left and spotted Omar standing beside them. "Well, she doesn’t have a backpack. We should be fine,” Boebert recalled saying, drawing laughs from her audience. “And I said, ‘Oh look, the jihad squad decided to show up for work today.’”

The incumbents in every other congressional district have debated their opponents, with the exception of Rep. Betty McCollum. U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar’s Republican challenger claimed that the first-term congresswoman has repeatedly backed out of forums and debates, making her one of the only incumbents who hasn’t participated in a debate. Republican Lacy Johnson called on Omar to agree to a debate before the Nov. 3 election in a statement issued this week. “Representative Omar’s entire time spent in Congress, in addition to her candidacy, has been plagued with scandal. Recently questions have been raised surrounding her campaign engaging in criminal...

by Sheri Urban According to a new bombshell report, Omar’s campaign has been paying $250,000 to her ex, Ahmed Hirsi, for his silence on her affair with D.C. political consultant Tim Mynett. Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is repurposing President Donald Trump’s attacks against her as she launched her re-election campaign for Minnesota’s 5th district. As reported by Minneapolis’s Star Tribune newspaper, Omar launched her 2020 run Thursday night with the slogan “Send her back to Congress,” a play on Trump’s racist, xenophobic tweets and his supporters’ chanting about her last summer. "I'm in Congress fighting for the people who feel oppressed in our country and abroad," Omar, a Somali refugee who fled civil war before coming to the United States as a teenager, said at the event, according to the Star Tribune....

I have been following Rep. Ilhan Omar closely since she defeated a 22-term incumbent in the DFL primary to run for the state legislature representing the West Bank/Little Mogadishu neighborhood of Minneapolis in August 2016. The first time I became aware of Omar’s claim to be a victim of PTSD, however, was just last year, in Benjamin Wallace-Wells’s idiotic March 27, 2019 (New Yorker profile.) W-W snagged an interview with Omar for the profile and quoted her: “You know, I have P.T.S.D. around, like, guns and ammunition and bombs.” According to the account Omar delivered to W-W, Omar’s PTSD dates...
