I think it was Jesus who first said those words, so I suppose Christians want to present themselves in the best possible light in hopes of getting a place with a pool in Heaven. Even though I’m not a Christian, I’m certainly willing to grant that Jesus was a much nicer guy than I am. Still, it seems fairly obvious that without sinners, those pesky sins would quickly disappear. To my way of thinking, Barack Obama is the single biggest sinner...

WASHINGTON (AFP) - Months beyond what was to be a three-week deathwatch, US humorist Art Buchwald is frustrated: rather than passing away quickly as his doctors predicted, he has to start shaving again, rewrite his will, and change his funeral plans. And get a new cellphone. But Buchwald, the Washington Post columnist who was diagnosed with fatal kidney disease early this year, said Tuesday in the paper that his unexpectedly long-lived last weeks haven't been so bad -- his doctor has now prescribed a holiday to Martha's Vineyard, the Massachusetts island resort. "I never realized dying was so much fun,"...

COMMENTARY One Million Turn Out to See Rolling Stones Bash Bush in Rio By Political Satirist Chris Davis Feb 20, 2006 Rio de Janeiro—The Rolling Stones, a geriatric rock group, left a million fans satisfied and spent on Copacabana Beach after Saturday's free performance to bash President George W. Bush while playing some rock 'n roll. Boats, including a huge ocean liner, crowded the shoreline, and helicopters and blimps circled overhead during the show that shut down the Copacabana Beach district.  Large monitors flashed the peace symbol while others flashed, "War is not my voice.  Don't invade the world, Bush!"...

Website points out falsehoods in liberal humorist's latest book © 2004 WorldNetDaily.com Al Franken, author of "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them," is getting a bit of his own medicine via a new website created to challenge the liberal humorist's claims in the book. Frankenlies.com points out several factual missteps in Franken's book, complete with footnoted rebuttals. Al Franken Written in a comical tone, the site points out the irony of Franken's claim that 14 researchers helped him fact-check his book, while frankenlies.com employs exactly "zero Harvard researchers." One of Franken's "lies" cited is his contention President Bill...
