Every St. Patrick's Day, I give some extra thought to one of the few people I consider to be a true "Sports Hero," a phrase far too often overused. Joey Dunlop was one of the greatest motorcycle road racers ever, and while he was granted the MBE for his incredible accomplishments on the TT courses around the world, especially the Isle of Mann TT, he was granted the OBE for his humanitarian work, something he quietly did, without looking for recognition.
