Henry Ford, the creator of the United States' affluent working middle class, identified Mr. Hoffa as what he is decades before Hoffa's birth: A spokesman who does not work in the shop, who does not work in any shop, whose sole ambition perhaps is never again to have to work in a shop, is usually the "bargainer," and it is from what he says or does that many employers draw their opinion of the men in the shop (Ford Ideals, 1922). ...Mr. Hoffa also accused the Tea Party of "waging a war on workers," which reinforces Ford's advice that workers...
  • The White House and Big Labor Use Labor Day to Demean and Advocate Violence

For many Americans, Labor is the unofficial end of summer, but this year’s Labor was a chance for the Obama White House and Big Labor to demean and advocate violence against their political opponents, which happen to be Republicans and the Tea Party Movement. President Obama traveled to the decaying city of Detroit for an astrotruf Labor Day Rally complete with Big Labor Boss Jimmy Hoffa Jr. and his stuffed labor shirts. In remakes before the President spoke, Hoffa warmed up the crowd with red meat stating personally that, “President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march....

Sarah Palin was quick to respond to the thuggary on display in Detriot when the UAW Union President, Jimmy Hoffa Jr. introduced President Obama by demonizing the Tea Party and conservatives, indicating the Union was at war with them, needed Obama to continue to enusre their jobs, and that the Union needed to "take out the sons of bitches" who were against Obama. Sarah is the first major politician to directly take Hoffa to task for his remakrs. Here is Sarah Palin's response on September 7, 2011, addressing herself to the Union members themselves: "In my speech on Saturday...
  • James Hoffa And Ed Schultz Bond Over Tea Party Comments: ‘Let’s Call These People What They Are’

After yesterday’s comments against the Tea Party in which he encouraged an audience to “take those son-of-a-bitches out [of office, of course!],” Hoffa found himself in an exclusive interview with possibly the most sympathetic host to his cause he could find: Ed Schultz, who has made the plight of the working class a cornerstone of his program. Predictably, the interview played out like a minefield (no violent rhetoric intended!) for those on the right seeking more evidence against Hoffa, as the latter doubled down on his rhetoric yesterday.“We’re not backing down,” Hoffa told Schultz regarding both his comments and the...
  • Krauthammer condemns 'cosmic hypocrisy' of Democrats after Hoffa remarks (Video)

Teamsters President James Hoffa isn’t backing down from his Labor Day remarks, and there are very few on his side calling on him to do so. Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer says there is something to be learned from the episode. On Tuesday’s “Special Report” on the Fox News Channel, Krauthammer said the lack of a backlash was the latest evidence of hypocrisy from President Barack Obama’s party. “The real story is [the] cosmic hypocrisy of the Democrats,” Krauthammer said. “We had the shooting in Tucson all of a sudden that was obviously the act of a psychotic mad man…...

Teamsters chief says unions didn't start 'war' with Tea Party, battles with conservative media By Alicia M. Cohn - 09/06/11 04:41 PM ET Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa maintained Tuesday that union workers are at "war" with Tea Party-affiliated politicians, but insisted he wasn't inciting violence. Hoffa stood by remarks he made over the weekend at a Labor Day rally in Detroit at which he called for workers to “take these son-of-a-bitches out” in 2012. "I will never apologize for standing up for my fellow Teamsters and all American workers," Hoffa said in a press release Tuesday. Hoffa also accused what...

Incivility: Teamsters boss Jimmy Hoffa Jr. introduced President Obama to union hordes by declaring war on the Tea Party and offering him an army against Republicans. Why no condemnation from "The Great Uniter"? When President Obama held a rally at a sports arena in Tucson in January after a madman went on a shooting spree that maimed Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., and killed a federal judge and a civic-minded 9-year-old girl, he called for "more civility in our public discourse." "We should be civil because we want to live up to the example of public servants like John Roll and...

Yesterday was a poopy day because I couldn't go anywhere or do anything I wanted to do. 1. Couldn't go to Canada for a wine tour because I couldn't get the the bridge or tunnel. 2. Couldn't have the best brisket, corn bread, macaroni and cheese because the highways were blocked. 3. Couldn't go to the jazz festival on the river in Detroit because every road was blocked. 4. Couldn't fly my airplane due to an area TFR ( Temporary Flight Restriction). All of this because President Zero was here. I forgot about it and attempted to enjoy my Labor...

I have reposted this thread on the request of previous posters about my trip to Jimmy Hoffa's office. I have returned. The building is in an interesting area. Burned out homes to the west, casino to the east. Last week I was collecting bricks from a burned out home in that area and found a rifle in the surrounding field, but I digress. I walked in the door and there wasn't any security. The building was dark and felt empty. I took a couple of photos and then knocked on Hoffa's door. No answer. I then started walking around the...

AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name...
