Ask Andrew W.K.: Should I Buy a Gun? Dear Andrew, I’ve always been a staunch opponent of guns, but my home has been broken into twice in the last six weeks. Now I’m think- ing about purchasing a gun to protect my family and home. My wife is very much against this idea, and we fight about it of- ten. I completely understand where she’s coming from, as her views on the dangers of owning a gun used to be my own. What do you think? Should I get a gun? One Shot Dear One Shot, Guns are intense. Officials at the Menil Collection don't know why a man spray-painted Pablo Picasso's "Woman in a Red Armchair" at the museum, but the act wasn't caught just on surveillance cameras. It also was captured by a bystander with a smartphone camera and subsequently posted on YouTube with a caption naming the alleged perpetrator as a young artist... I've always liked Director Peter Weir's films. Master and Commander, Witness, Gallipoli. Even things I didn't care for like The Year Of Living Dangerously and The Dead Poets Society were still well done and stylish. I'll provide the synopsis from IMDB but I'll be damned if I'm going to provide a link to the trailer. From IMDB: "A horror...

LOVELAND — About 25 to 30 residents stood outside the Loveland Museum/Gallery this morning protesting a portion of an exhibit that appears to show Jesus Christ involved in a sex act. "This is not art, it's smut, pure and simple," said Ronald Minto, who said he's not against graphic art per se. But the color lithograph produced by Stanford University's Enrique Chagoya is outright pornography, he said. "This is a museum, not an X-rated book store," said Minto. The lithograph is spread over 12 panels, each about 7- by 7-inches, and is called "The Misadventures of the Romantic Cannibals." It's...
