Citizens group continue fight against city water untility. Their purpose was to discuss the proposed acquisition of three local water companies by the city of Cottonwood. Doug Evenson, Chairmen of Concerned Citizens Committee, told the council they were breaking the law and what they planned on doing was illeagal.

<p>If you're looking for someone to blame for Louisiana's high auto insurance rates, you won't have to look far.</p> <p>It's our own fault, industry experts and insurance company officials say.</p> <p>"We drink and drive. We speed. We don't wear seat belts. We have accidents, and then we wonder why our insurance rates are so high," said Gary Stephenson, a spokesman for State Farm Insurance.</p>
