| A Schererville woman who was shot in the head Sunday on Chicago's Southeast Side died at the hospital Monday morning. Her father was placed in intensive care after suffering a medical problem while he was en route Sunday to where she was hospitalized. Holly Hieber, 26, was shot a little after 9:15 p.m. Sunday in a garage in the 11100 block of South Ewing Avenue, Chicago police said. She died Monday morning at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Ill., the Cook County medical examiner's office said.
