The mom of the 14-year-old alleged Apalachee High School shooter is now facing charges of abusing her own mother. The New York Post reported that Marcee Gray was indicted for allegedly abusing Deborah Polhamus. WSB-TV noted that Gray’s specific charges are “exploitation and intimidation of a disabled adult or elderly person, false imprisonment, criminal damage to property in the second degree, and theft.”

The man whose teen son is accused of killing four people at a Georgia high school asked a judge on Wednesday for protection from fellow inmates due to the “incalculable number of threats” he faces behind bars. The father of Georgia school shooter Colt Gray was arrested on charges including murder after it was revealed that he purchased the AR-15-style rifle the 14-year-old used to shoot dead four people on campus. Gray, 54, has been taken into custody by local authorities and charged with two felony counts of murder, four felony counts of involuntary manslaughter, and eight felony counts of cruelty to children. Lt. Brian Rice, one of six Baltimore officers charged in the Gray case, filed his lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Maryland on May 2, the same day two of the other officers — Sgt. Alicia White and Officer William Porter — filed a joint defamation lawsuit against Mosby in state Circuit Court. Documents in Rice's case were first unsealed on Monday.
