AUSTIN, Texas – People in Austin graded how well President Biden handled the economy, immigration, foreign relations and climate change in 2022. "On the economy, I would give Joe Biden an F," a Nebraskan told Fox News. "We're still dealing with rampant inflation. Our gas prices have been skyrocketing ever since he canceled the pipeline." But a Texan with a thick mustache disagreed and gave Biden a B on the economy. "He's doing a good job keeping it together and trying to help people that need it," he told Fox News.

AUSTIN, Texas – Lone Star State residents rated President Biden’s overall performance for 2022, with a majority giving him a failing letter grade. "I don't really think that he's made strong decisions to progress our country forward in terms of our economy," a Texas woman who gave Biden an F or a D-minus told Fox News. But another woman who gave Biden a B said she was satisfied with the president, especially his push for federal student debt handout. "A lot of millennials and younger generations don't have access to housing or purchasing their own home or achieving certain financial...

The Supreme Court recently wrapped up its first term following the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett, the third in a trifecta of conservative justices President Trump nominated to the Court -- conservative by reputation, at least. In practice, their rulings so far have left fellow conservatives scratching their heads. Take for instance a recent ruling that involved a moratorium on evictions the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention had imposed upon landlords last September and is scheduled to expire on July 31. To control the spread of the pandemic, the CDC banned landlords from evicting tenants who were behind in...

RALEIGH, N.C. - School employees in one state might be feeling happier these days after learning the bar for failing could be lowered, and by a lot. The North Carolina legislature is considering a change in the grading system for the state's public schools. The bill in question would be based on a 15-point scale, rather than a 10-point scale for grades. That would mean only scores lower than 39 percent would qualify for an F grade for schools, a far cry from the current 60 percent failure mark in the state and most others. Student grades would be unaffected...

EAG – A Texas seventh-grader is standing up for her religious beliefs after she alleges her teacher forced students to deny that God is real, and threatened them with failing grades if they don’t agree. Jordan Wooley, a seventh grade student at West Memorial Junior High School in the Katy Independent School District, testified at a school board meeting last night about an assignment in her reading class that caused a serious controversy, and expressed frustration about her teacher’s atheist indoctrination. “Today I was given an assignment in school that questioned my faith and told me that God was not...

A Kentucky 8th grade exam from 1912 was donated to the Bullitt County history museum. The questions feature the fundamental foundation of education that we seem to have lost due to the dumbing down of the American education system. Now with the common core epidemic we can see our youth transformed by a cookie cut education system and a near total loss of critical and independent thinking. If you can not read the fine print or zoom in, then here are some examples of 8th grade level testing in 1912. 1) Define the following terms of government: Democracy, Limited Monarchy,...

Bowen Bethards, 17, was a sophomore in Peggy Carlock's chemistry class at Albany High School in Albany,Calif., outside of San Francisco, in the 2010-11 school year when she gave him the C+ grade at the center of the suit, according to court records first reported by the Albany Patch. Bethards, in a lawsuit filed with his mother, Laureen, in Contra Costa County Superior Court last month, claims that he has suffered severe physical and emotional suffering, damage to his academic reputation, and diminished chances of getting into his college of choice because of the grade. The Bethards claim that Carlock,...

Obama's campaign asks supporters to grade its performanceBy Meghashyam Mali - 06/10/12 06:40 AM ET President Obama’s campaign is calling on supporters to grade its performance amid a difficult early June for his reelection bid against presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney. “This campaign is ramping up, and the decisions we make right now will shape our path to victory in November,” said campaign manager Jim Messina in an email to supporters sent Saturday night. “That's why I want your input, because you are the ones building this campaign on the ground in your community. We want to know from you...

Barack Obama’s presidency can be boiled down to four numbers: 9.1 percent unemployment, nearly $3 trillion in budget deficits, a sick economy barely growing at less than 1 percent, and a job approval rating that has fallen to below 40 percent. The president can spin his excuses every which way from Sunday, zigzag from one policy to another or point the finger of blame at his predecessor or the Republicans who control half of Congress, but he can’t refute the failing grades on his report card. The Gallup Poll’s daily tracking survey, which showed his job approval numbers sinking to...

In his commencement speech at Hamilton College on Sunday, former Vice President Al Gore told the graduates that global warming is “the most serious challenge our civilization has ever faced.” But as an undergraduate at Harvard University in the late 1960s, Gore--one of the most prominent spokesmen on climate change today--earned a “D” in Natural Sciences. Gore’s transcript documents that during his sophomore year at Harvard he earned a "D" in Natural Sciences 6 (Man’s Place in Nature). Also, as a senior at Harvard, he earned a C-plus in Natural Sciences 118. Gore, along with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate...

The fiscal conservative-libertarians at Cato Institute have issued a report card for current governors, and they aren’t exactly generous with the praise. If a C is the minimum passing grade, then just 27 out of 50 states manage to keep from failing the test. At the top of the list, the Wall Street Journal reports, are at least two presidential aspirants — Tim Pawlenty and Bobby Jindal, and a third that gets a B, Mitch Daniels: The Cato report card gives the lowest grades to Governors who proposed or enacted the biggest tax and spending increases, while Governors who cut...

At least one university has come up with an innovative advertising campaign that may give them an unwelcome defense from allegations that they violate truth in advertising laws. “The ‘D+’ campaign logo aimed at upping recruitment at Drake University is getting a failing grade from those who say it tarnishes the Des Moines, Iowa school’s reputation,” the Associated Press reports. “Drake spokesman Tom DeLahunt says school leaders consider any reaction a good reaction and that ‘D+’ actually represents all the opportunities Drake offers students.” From what we’ve found, the grade might be warranted. Malcolm A. Kline is the Executive Director...

If you thought Paul Krugman was the only nut on the Princeton faculty, you'd be dead wrong. U.S. News and World Report advises that Princeton historian and professor of politics emeritus Fred Greenstein gives Obama almost perfect high marks as president. Try to read this without laughing. Better yet, swallow before proceeding to a summary of the professor's views of the most arrogant ("I Won"), ill-informed, vague on details and short on follow up polarizing President ever.. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Public Communication: A. Reason: Obama has offered highly substantive arguments for his agenda and moved to respond to a complex media environment.[Ed:...
