A Croatian court has sentenced former army general Mirko Norac and two other defendants to lengthy prison terms in connection with the killings of 50 ethnic Serb civilians in 1991. The court, based in the town of Rijeka, sentenced Norac to 12 years in prison for his role in the so-called "Gospic killings."
