The Gateway Pundit reported last March, before Kari Lake announced her bid for U.S. Senate, she revealed that a person sent by “powerful people back East” attempted to bribe her “with a huge salary and a position on a board” to stay out of politics. Lake, however, told the individual to pound sand and then later announced her campaign for Senate with President Trump’s endorsement. Now, Tucson radio host Garrett Lewis reports that two sources close to the matter confirmed to him that it was Arizona GOP Chairman Jeff DeWit. Two sources confirmed to me that AZGOP Chairman @JeffDeWitAZ was...

Left-wing activist Shaun King announced to his 6 million followers that his Instagram account was deactivated on Monday. Shaun King’s posts have focused heavily on condemnation of Israel, including accusing the Jewish state of “genocide” and “war crimes” in its military operations in Gaza. In a video, King said he was informed his Instagram account was being deactivated and said it was because Meta platforms, including Instagram and Facebook, have “decided to stand in the way of those of us that are fighting for the human rights and dignity of Palestinians.” However, his Facebook account, which like Instagram is owned...

[Catholic Caucus] Fiducia supplicans appears to have failed spectacularlyThat the strongest resistance is coming largely from the global south and the developing world only reinforces the already powerful impression that Pope Francis’s solicitude for “the peripheries” is only so much talk.It isn’t every day that the top papal lieutenant goes on the record to discuss something about which he’d just said there would be no further clarification, but that’s what just happened in an interview published by The Pillar with the prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith. That’s one of the things that happened, at any rate,...

December 23rd, a day synonymous with last-minute shopping and plenty of traffic is a big day for another group of people: Fans of Seinfeld. For the uninitiated, Festivus is a holiday celebrated by the Costanza family in Season 9 Episode 10 of Seinfeld. Festivus was born from the trials and tribulations of Christmas shopping. When George’s dad Frank went to buy his son a doll many Christmases ago, he battled with another father for the last doll. In the intense battle, Frank thought there had to be another way, and through the destruction of the doll, Festivus was born. While...

These cryptic messages have reportedly been found across Pennsylvania in a variety of food packagesHow did a note get into a sealed cereal box? That’s the question, among others, being asked by a Luzerne County man. He contacted the FBI about the note as well as the I-Team to look into the situation. There are a lot of moving parts to this story, but it does appear, based on our research thus far, that notes like this are showing up in all types of food products from numerous grocery stores around eastern Pennsylvania and beyond. It also does appear that...

Bob Katter has accused Qantas of being anti-Christian after claiming the national air carrier snubbed traditional Christmas carols inside of one of its prestigious business class lounges. In a written complaint against the airline, the independent MP said he was angered to hear no holiday music with faith-based messages while sitting in a Qantas Club during a flight delay. 'I noticed that throughout the two hours I was there, they were playing 'Xmas' music,' Mr Katter said. 'Two hours of the most un-Christmassy music I've ever heard.

Boxing Day is traditionally held the day after ChristmasBoxing Day is a public holiday celebrated in the United Kingdom and some Commonwealth countries, including Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Why is it called Boxing Day? Boxing Day originated as a day when servants, tradespeople and the poor were given gifts, according to Britannica. The origin of the name has varied, with some believing it started when churches would leave alms boxes to collect donations for those less fortunate. Others say Boxing Day started when employers would give their employees boxes of gifts the day after Christmas because servants were required...

Twice-failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton fueled fears Monday that former President Donald Trump will act as a “dictator” if he defeats President Joe Biden and takes the White House in January 2025. “Take him at his word,” Clinton wrote in response to Democrat Sen. Brian Schatz (D-HI), who wrote, “Trump is now repeatedly saying he’s going to be a dictator on day one and I don’t think we should keep asking what he means.” “That’s what he means,” Schatz stated. The hysterical warning from Democrats follows Trump’s tongue-in-cheek response to questions on whether or not he will act as...

Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey announced Friday she replaced the state’s director of early childhood education, due to the use of a teacher training book that Ivey said teaches “woke concepts.” “The education of Alabama’s children is my top priority as governor, and there is absolutely no room to distract or take away from this mission,” Ivey said in a statement. “Let me be crystal clear: Woke concepts that have zero to do with a proper education and that are divisive at the core have no place in Alabama classrooms at any age level, let alone with our youngest learners.” The...

Tucker calls out Biden's new equity agenda in home ownership For centuries, politicians in this country assumed that in order to win an election, you had to convince voters to vote for you. You had to make their case. That was called democracy. But the defining strategic insight of the modern Democratic Party is they don't really need to convince anyone of anything. What matters is demographics. To import enough people from elsewhere, people who are financially dependent on you in order to live. That's the story of the state of California. That's why California changed. It's why Texas is...

The “ComEd Four” trial preparing for closing arguments in Chicago could provide what one state representative says is a “master class” on needed ethics reforms at the Illinois capitol. Closing arguments are set in the trial where prosecutors allege a nearly decade long bribery scheme involving a utility and powerful statehouse actors. Three lobbyists and a former ComEd official on trial the past six weeks all pleaded not guilty in the scheme allegedly involving former Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan. Madigan, who faces more than 20 corruption-related charges, has pleaded not guilty with a trial expected next spring. State Rep....

For decades, conservatism has been hindered by a major personality flaw: its sense of humor. Or rather its lack thereof. Humor is a powerful weapon for telling stories and mocking one’s enemies, something the American Left mastered with the skill of a Renaissance sculptor. While so-called liberals were defining the edges of popular culture with the help of Bill Hicks, Chevy Chase and Jon Stewart, the right was mounting sad rebuttals via the likes of Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy. ... There’s a lesser-known franchise poised to help lead the right’s humor revolution. Flappr, ostensibly a humor blog,...
