If there’s one thing the recent riots (not protests) over George Floyd’s death have shown, it’s that Antifa is a terrorist organization. While patriotic Americans from both sides of the political spectrum peacefully protested to show their displeasure and disgust with the murder of George Floyd, the Antifa hooligans have been rioting and looting, destroying communities with lighters and thrown bricks. That shows that Antifa is a terrorist organization; they’re trying to use violence and public terror of their actions to affect a political outcome that they desire. Of course, just because Antifa is a terrorist organization doesn’t mean that...

As hundreds of thousands of people all over the globe are protesting the US-armed and funded Israeli acts of war and Zionist genocide against the Palestinian population of Gaza, the slaughter continues with more bombings, siege and a blockade, plus a threatened ground war." So reads a description of the Gaza fighting on the home page of indymedia.org, the Web site of the Independent Media Center, which describes itself as "a network of collectively run media outlets for the creation of radical, accurate, and passionate tellings of the truth." I was in a recent discussion about the war on terror and the nature of the Radical Wahhabi sect of Muslims. One person felt that war is wrong and that a pacifistic approach would be more successful. To engage in war was to become like your enemy, and to retain our humanity we must be pacifists. This person cited Gandhi, Martin Luther King and Jesus as examples of successful pacifists. I agree that pacifism is preferable to war in instances where it is logical to follow that path. In other words, it has to work. In the case of Gandhi,...

The eruption of rage in some quarters of the Islamic world against Pope Benedict XVI requires that several tough things be said. Painful though it may be, speaking frankly is necessary if there is to be honest and open dialogue. It is not only the obscenity of the Muslim Brotherhood, an Islamist terrorist band suppressed in several Muslim states, demanding an apology from anyone, let alone the Holy Father. It is not only the grandstanding Pakistani politicians passing resolutions condemning a papal speech few read, and even fewer understood. It is that we have seen this before. When Pope John...

Is it just me or does it seem like Iran is picking a fight? If so, what is their motivation? Do they already have the bomb, and hope to use our attack as cover for a launch on Israel? our troops in the region? wave of prestaged terror here? Are they trying to use an external enemy to solidify power and to distract an increasingly hostile populace? Are they simply trying to find the boundaries of Western will in general, and American will in particular? The risk for us being that if we don't have the will to finish this...

LONDON: Children of working mothers who have low job satisfaction develop stress, says a study. Julie Turner-Cobb, a health psychologist and senior lecturer at the University of Bath in Britain, and other researchers studied more than 50 nursery school children and measured their levels of cortisol - the primary stress hormone. Cortisol is a steroid hormone that regulates blood pressure and cardiovascular function and immune function as well as controlling the body's use of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats, according to a university release. The hormone's secretion increases in response to stress experience, whether physical such as illness, trauma, surgery, or...

Michael Moore's movie Farenheit 911 is most like going to be nominated at the oscars for best picture, directing, and cinemtography. I hope people will boycott the oscars for nominating a hateful movie. It would be like the anti-reagan movie The Reagans getting nominated
