In the concluding segment, the "Real Time" host actually said of Bristol, "The s--t doesn't fall far from the bat" (video follows with transcript and commentary, vulgarity warning):

Charges build up due to exchange of material, study suggests A balloon rubbed against the head can be both a hair-raising and a hair-tearing experience, a new study suggests. Clumps of balloon and hair invisible to the naked eye may break off each object during contact and stick to the other. The existence of this exchange could challenge traditional theories about how static electricity builds up, a process known as contact electrification. “The basic assumptions people have made about contact electrification are wrong,” says Bartosz Grzybowski, a physical chemist at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. He and his colleagues describe...

How the Peace of Jerusalem Will Be Established As of late, we have seen the world led by the United States seeking to strip from Israel it present day borders and bullying them into a forced agreement with those who absolutely abhor them and seek their utter destruction. Sadly, America (who is governed at the moment by the progressive Left) has always been Israel’s strongest ally but at present has forsaken Israel and thrown them under the Middle East Islamic bus. With an anti-Israeli Europe and now a current anti-Israeli U.S. administration, Israel’s back is totally up against the wall...

Advanced crafting of stone spearheads contributed to the development of new ways of human thinking and behaving. This is what new findings by archaeologists at Lund University have shown. The technology took a long time to acquire, required step by step planning and increased social interaction across the generations. This led to the human brain developing new abilities. 200 000 years ago, small groups of people wandered across Africa, looking like us anatomically but not thinking the way we do today. Studies of fossils and the rate of mutations in DNA show that the human species to which we all...

Implications of this one should be fairly obvious...

In 2008 The LA Times withheld a video that contained footage of Barack Obama celebrating with a group of Palestinians who were openly hostile towards Israel. Barack Obama reportedly even gave a toast to a former PLO operative, Rashid Khalidi, at this celebration. This was something the LA Times hid from the American public before the election. The media refused to release the video.

Politico knew they likely wouldn’t get a quote from Sarah Palin for the latest hit piece they published so they made one up. One of the authors is the former chairman of the Democratic Party of Virgina.Politico wrote: Will Sarah Palin’s intensifying rivalry with Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) cause the former Alaska governor to run for president? The first female Republican vice presidential nominee clearly believes she is the one who has paid the heavy dues by bearing the brunt of the “liberal elite” attacks to help build the tea party, social conservative wing of the GOP.Palin’s bus tour had some...

The release of 24,000 pages of Sarah Palin's emails shows that she received a barrage of abusive emails including death threats in the run up to the 2008 presidential race. One message sent by someone in Juneau, Alaska on Sept 17, 2008 said the governor should be "shot from one of the planes that shoot the very wolves that you ordered." Five days earlier an email landed in her in-box saying she "must be killed."

Weinergate is the gift that keeps on giving. A fifth woman, Traci Nobles, has been discovered to have had sexual communication with digital Don Juan, Rep. Anthony Weiner and RadarOnline.com has exclusively obtained emails between the two of them. “Please understand i am a very important man. I'm always busy, but I promise i will make time for you soon!” Weiner wrote to Nobles in an email dated May 6, 2011. “Don't the pictures i send keep you satisfied?”

Don't let the name "American Values Network" hoodwink you. This organization is run by a bunch of dhimmicratic leftists like Kathleen Kennedy Townsend.Recently they put together a video that contains a small segment of Mike Wallace's interview with Ayn Rand. The segment showcases Ayn Rand's hatred for religion, God and Christianity. Then the video features a photo of Rush Limbaugh and quotes him as saying that Ayn Rand was "brilliant". Completely removed from the context of course. What the AVN makers of this video did was to feature a brief segment of Rand bashing God--and then--a photo of Rush Limbaugh quoted as saying "brilliant".As if to...

The squabble between Darwin lobbyists who openly hate religion and those who only quietly disdain it grows ever more personal, bitter and pathetic. On one side, evangelizing New or "Gnu" (ha ha) Atheists like Jerry Coyne and his acolytes at Why Evolution Is True. Dr. Coyne is a biologist who teaches and ostensibly researches at the University of Chicago but has a heck of a lot of free time on his hands for blogging and posting pictures of cute cats. On the other side, so-called accommodationists like the crowd at the National Center for Science Education, who attack the...

ORANGE COUNTY, FL (WESH/CNN) – A Christian group is protesting the annual "Gay Day" by flying a banner plane over Disney World with a warning message for visitors. The six day celebration for gay pride is a 20 year celebration, held in Orlando, FL, with Saturday spent at the Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom. "It's just about people being proud of who they are here," said Gay day participant, Floyd Benefield. With the 160,000 people visiting central Florida to celebrate, Florida Family Association is boycotting and spending $7,000 to fly banners for two full days near Disney, warning unsuspected families of...

FOX News contributor Charles Krauthammer gives his take on what a "Washington establishment elitist" thinks of a potential Sarah Palin run for the presidency. In self-deprecating fashion, Krauthammer says he wears Palin's "hoity-toity" comment as a badge of honor. "She is very smart and adept. Great political instincts and is a star. The problem with her, I think, is that she is not schooled. I don't mean she didn't go to the right schools. I mean when you get into policy, beyond instincts -- I like her political instincts, I like her political overall view of the world -- but...

After retaining legal counsel in a case in which a lewd photo was sent from his Twitter account to a 21 year-old female college student, New York Rep. Anthony Weiner says he will no longer answer questions about the matter. The matter has become a "distraction," the outspoken Democrat told reporters Tuesday, and he intends to spend his time working on congressional matters and not answering questions about what has become known in furious Internet speculation as "Weinergate." In a performance that might please a defense attorney but would make a public relations consultant cringe, Weiner, who has said his...

This has been a year of uprisings. The series of popular revolts, struggles and crackdowns by governments, which continue to this day... But whether or not every person on earth has certain rights just by virtue of being a person alive on the planet — a concept I will refer to here as natural human rights — is a question of some controversy. In these times, when new questions of rights, complaints and subsequent conflicts seem to arise anew each week, it’s worth knowing where we stand on the matter. Philosophers and legal scholars have intensely debated this issue over...

Google, today, put up it's standard logo with no adornment. Just a small U.S. flag at the bottom of the page with a yellow ribbon. Compare this minimalist observance with the highly decorated GOOGLE logo commemorating all sorts of people and occasions -- usually avoiding anything that is considered patriotic.

Gandhi. Leftists have embraced him as their Jesus figure. Gore is an admirer. They can keep him. He was the vegetarian Neville Chamberlain of his day. From Andrew Roberts in The Wall Street Journal: Joseph Lelyveld has written a generally admiring book about Mohandas Gandhi, the man credited with leading India to independence from Britain in 1947. Yet “Great Soul” also obligingly gives readers more than enough information to discern that he was a sexual weirdo, a political incompetent and a fanatical faddist—one who was often downright cruel to those around him. Gandhi was therefore the archetypal 20th-century progressive -intellectual,...

In Kandahar, a city with a population of about 500,000, and other towns, dance parties are a popular -- often weekly -- pastime. Young boys dress up as females, wearing makeup and jewelry on their feet, and dance for a dozen or more leering middle-aged men who throw money at them and then take them home.

Arrogance of Condescension (The Secular Politician and use of the Christian Bible) People often look to their politicians to reflect their values to some degree before voting for or supporting them. The glory of the republic is that all peoples can be represented and yet we will have sometimes stark disagreement on issues. When a politician believes passionately in something and the truth is on their side they need nothing more than that issue, their knowledge and their passion. Yes, they better have their facts straight. However, when the issue is more about their world view being passed and in...
